I would give zero stars. From 3/30/22 to 4/20/22, my truck sat at Inver Grove Ford to be repaired, and I was charged $788 for them to NOT repair my truck. I ended up bringing my truck to Hudson Ford and they repaired my truck properly, costing me another $900. I was in constant contact with management at Inver Grove. Tim Sundberg said they did nothing wrong and the work was fine, Eric refused to offer any assistance, and owner Mike Saxon just stopped responding to me. Inver Hills Ford sat on my truck for weeks, ignored what I told them, didn't properly address the computer issue, which was due to them not fixing the tire sensor monitor before programming my computer, instead they told me I needed a new computer. They lied about the service they did complete, by saying my truck was done, but when I went to pick it up, I started it and my dash lit up. If they checked everything like they said they did, they too would have seen that dash an would have fixed those issues before they called me to say it was done. Management did nothing about my dispute and told me to basically kick rocks after their incompetent work. The story: My truck was stolen in March of 2022. I filed a claim with insurance and sent insurance my keys. Police found my truck 2 weeks later, and insurance towed it to Inver Grove Ford to get checked out. Since we no longer had the keys, I informed Ford not to lock the truck, since it would not be able to be opened and the alarm system would continue to go off. I told Ford I would get them the keys and again to not lock the vehicle. IG Ford did not listen, and locked the truck, setting off the alarm system, and they were unable to open the truck. They called and informed me of this, and I told them they could not do anything else until they got the keys for the truck. IG Ford then made a key for the truck, programmed it, and tried to use it, but they could not get the alarm system to stop still, due to not having the original key. Ford told me I needed a new computer. I bought a new computer for $293 and gave it to Ford to install. They stated they programmed the computer and the truck was now fixed. However, when I went to pick up my truck, the dome light was flashing, the radio did not work, the tire sensor monitor light was on. IG Ford said they would look at the truck again, and then told me the computer I bought was bad. I did my own research by calling around to other dealerships and found out that the tire sensor monitor had to be off before the computer can be programmed. I talked to the owner, Mike Saxon at Ford, Tim Sundberg, who denied doing anything wrong, even though the dispute showed they did, Mike refused to call me back, and Eric refused to help. I told him the issue of needing to replace the tire sensor monitor, and how his people were not properly fixing with the truck. I was told they would not fix the tire sensor monitor because that wasn't the problem; he said the problem was that I needed a new computer. I had no choice to pay the bill for faulty service, for they would not give me back my truck otherwise so I could bring it somewhere else for service. I took it to another Ford dealership in Hudson, WI and explained the situation. They agreed that the tire sensors needed to be replaced in order to properly program my computer, which was the job to be done in the first place at the first Ford dealership. I paid another $906.51 for Hudson Ford to fix my truck properly, after paying Inver Grove Ford $788.01 to not fix my truck, cause further damage, and buy a new computer when my original one was fine. I did NOT need a new computer, and, in fact my original computer was not faulty, after Inver Grove Ford told me it was. Hudson Ford fixed my truck. More

I want to share an experience that I had with this dealership. We own a 2017 Ford Explorer and purchased an extended warranty from this dealership. A week ago, we brought the car in because dealership. We own a 2017 Ford Explorer and purchased an extended warranty from this dealership. A week ago, we brought the car in because it was struggling to start right away. Since we also needed to get an oil change, some recalls looked at, and have a seat heater fixed, we made plans to leave the car all day. I dropped the car off at 8:30 AM. Upon drop off, they determined that the battery terminal was corroded. They said they would clean and test the battery for $55. I also got talked into a 60K service as it was overdue for about $800. By about 5PM, we were calling the service department trying to see if we could pick up the car but they clearly weren't finished. They claimed that the 60K mile service was done, and that the battery had been cleaned and tested out fine. They were "working on" one of the recalls but didn't get to the other one. They also needed to order parts for the seat, so that couldn't be done until another day. We told them that we'd pick up the car right away and handle the other recall when the parts for the seat came in. When we came to get the car, it was parked outside, and they mentioned that it was almost completely out of gas. That was odd, since we didn't even think we were low. Upon further investigation, the car wouldn't start at all! When they opened the hood, the battery was still corroded over. Clearly, they lied about cleaning and testing the battery. Worse than that, cleaning and testing the battery was ALSO included in the 60K mile service. They scrambled some people together and determined that the battery was completely DEAD! At that point, they got someone to replace the battery so my wife could leave. When the parts came in for the seat, we made another appointment. Upon booking that appointment, we were offered a rental (loaner) car so that we didn't have to spend another entire day waiting for them to finish. When I showed up to drop the car, no rental cars were available, and the service advisor acted like there was nothing he could do. When I reminded him about the terrible service we got last time, and that his manager had promised us a rental, he gave in. When the work was completed, I got a call and was told we'd be charged the full amount for the 60K mile service, which I have a hard time believing was done. When I told him that I didn't trust that the 60K mile service was done, his response was: "Well it was, and YOU are paying for it!" I am now waiting for a call back from the manager. If you are interested in getting ripped off and completely disrespected as a customer, by all means spend your money at Inver Grove Ford. Fortunately, there are much better options. More

A few days ago I brought my vehicle in for an oil change (like I do every 3 months or couple thousand miles). Well later on that day after they do that, my truck is smoking and leaking, mind you it was NOT doing this before I brought it in to them. It became unsafe to drive, had I known I wouldve never drove it down to Kasson where I got stranded. I call them and Nick says to me theres nothing they can do because I'm too far, and then they tell me it's always had a history of leaking which is news to me. If it was leaking why did no one bother to tell me this the multiple times that I have been here?? I obviously would have never have driven it had I known. Not only that but I always ask to make sure if anything needs to be worked on or checked out, not only did they fail to inform that something was wrong, they blatantly lied to my face and told me everything looked good before I left that day. It never leaked or smoked until AFTER they did the oil changed so I know they did something. I'm just absolutely embarrassed for Ford and just appalled that this has happened at a dealership like this. More

Called them to have my heater fan fixed. They said they couldn’t get it in for a week and a 1/2. I asked why so long. The guy responded, “backed up for the holidays”. Poor service Made an appointment for power steering problem on Friday, no appointment available till Tuesday 9:15 AM, car delivered midday Monday, Tuesday 11:4 Made an appointment for power steering problem on Friday, no appointment available till Tuesday 9:15 AM, car delivered midday Monday, Tuesday 11:45 AM I called to see where progress was, told not being serviced yet two cars in front of mine, 4:30 I was called and told parts needed be there in two days, ordered rear brakes to be done, parts came in Thursday. 11:30 Friday they started steering problem (4 hr job) car would be done about 4:30. Then had brake job to do. Evidently no time between Tuesday and Friday to do the brakes. Got car at 6:25 Friday afternoon. So between Tuesday appointment, they didn't make, and Friday finish time not made very very disappointed in service. First and last time I ever have taken my car to a dealer, never will again. More
