Tricky maintenance repair! I bought a used truck in February and started having issues at the end of July. This issue stumped the mechanics pretty good! I had the truck in 3 tim I bought a used truck in February and started having issues at the end of July. This issue stumped the mechanics pretty good! I had the truck in 3 times for diagnostics and another 3 times for repairs as they needed to special order the parts each time. Everybody was extremely pleasant and courteous. They got me in and out as quick as possible yet never appeared rushed. I will ALWAYS bring my vehicles in for service here. Thanks guys!!! More

As of 7pm Thursday night, I picked up the vehicle because after contacting the dealership, I found out that NONE of the services requested had been completed. The primary reason for service was to determine and fix engine / acceleration issue. The secondary reason for service was to get an oil change. These service requests were detailed in comments within the on-line appointment, discussed over the phone, and discussed again when the vehicle was dropped off. I am very disappointed by the incompetence and lack of accountability at Inver Grove Heights Ford Service Center. More
This has to be the worst Ford dealership I have ever been too. I have never been treated so rudely, or been dealt with as if I am incompetent of understanding the repairs for my vehicle. They promised to h too. I have never been treated so rudely, or been dealt with as if I am incompetent of understanding the repairs for my vehicle. They promised to have my vehicle in Friday morning, with a diagnosis by early afternoon, not only did they not keep their promise, they kept my vehicle over the weekend and only split the cost of a rental car because they do not provide loaner cars. When I told them that I was taking my vehicle to another garage, only then did a costumer service representative explain what the necessary parts were and explain the astronomical prices being charged. I will never recommend this dealer for services or sales, and I am extremely disappointed in the level of commitment to the Ford brand as a whole. More
I had scheduled recall service for the fleet vehicle assigned to me by the company where I work. On the day of the appointment it became obvious that something had gone wrong as no part had been ordere assigned to me by the company where I work. On the day of the appointment it became obvious that something had gone wrong as no part had been ordered to perform the recall. Eric took charge of the situation, explained the steps that were going to necessary, made sure that the part was ordered and that I was contacted when it arrived. All the way through the entire process he was courteous and friendly and turned what would most people would consider a negative service event into a positive one. I had been considering buying a used vehicle from one of the local independent dealers, but instead returned the next day and purchased my vehicle from Inver Grove Ford. More
We have had nothing but problems with our "Ford" and this dealership. Disclaimer ... This may not be a dealership issue - maybe all dealerships treat used car buyers like this. We have always "Ford" and this dealership. Disclaimer ... This may not be a dealership issue - maybe all dealerships treat used car buyers like this. We have always bought new, I am not impressed! We bought a used 2011 Ford Edge. (Ford is not my first choice to begin with, but my husband is a Ford man). Started out with break problems, the service tech at the time "blew us off" and said they found nothing after a few hours of checking. Three days later, I'm driving on 35W with merging traffic and I have no breaks, intermittent lack of breaks for the rest of the day. I called Saxton and was told, the soonest they could look at it was a week out, because they are so busy -(that is another concern, why so many problems). I'm thinking ... Really, second time with a break problem and they decide it can wait a week, and I should not worry (if I was in an accident due to lack of breaks, should I worry then?). Ended up to be a known Edge problem (per the Service Writer) - break booster. The part was not available (due to demand), for this issue - again per the Service Tech / Writer. How, if they know that there is an outstanding issue with the breaks on this model, can they not listen to the customer "woman" when she states there is a break problem? There was also a very distinctive noise when putting the car in gear. I recorded the noise because I was concerned it would not reproduce when I brought it in (intermittent) - no one was interested in hearing it! Now, 6 weeks later, we bring in what was suppose to be just the "free" oil change. Turned into 36,000 mile check up, tire rotation, oh, transmission flush ... all sorts of BS that should have been done at regular mile check ups ... nothing recorded as to being done on the car by original owners .... so in order to have any mfg warranty work effective, we have to have it all updated to the tune of over $1000!! My husband got them to go half on it, their contention was, we purchased it as is and should be responsible for it ..... Not sure where I will take for warranty issues in the future - Apple Valley Ford is even worse, if you can imagine that! More
Worst service ever!!!! Ripped off dealership. I took my Navigator for repair. After 4 days, they said they don't know what the problem really is but called Ford hotline and they said that the junction box Navigator for repair. After 4 days, they said they don't know what the problem really is but called Ford hotline and they said that the junction box needed to be replaced. It cost over $1K. I said fine but what if this issue is not the box, do i get charged for the box? They said yes because it's what Ford hotline recommended. I told them that I was not gonna pay for something that did not need repairs. That's their job to know about the cars since they made it. Imagine a doctor calling for a care line to ask recommendations! How stupid that sounds! So I called Lincoln White Bear for a second opinion. This dealership told me that they don't charge for unnecessary replacement! They say that what Ford Inver Grove is doing is wrong!. So I decided to call AAA to tow my car to Lincoln White Bear. Once I got to Inver Grove Ford, the service technician asked me if I wanted them to keep repairing and they won't charge me for the box if it is not faulty. I asked him why he changed his mind and saying something else now. He gave me some stupid reasons. FYI, I still have his emails about this crap. So I told him that I had enough of their bad service/dishonesty and wanted my car out of the shop. I ended up paying $250 for diagnosis and restocking fee for the junction box. I forgot to mention that they took 3 hours to write me an invoice for the diagnosis work. This prevented me from having AAA towing my car earlier. Also when I was talking on the phone with AAA in the cashier lounge, I saw a client coming in and argue with of the Ford employees. The client was yelling and showing his disappointment with the service of this shop. So I guess I am not the only one complaining about it. I don't mind paying for the service if it is done right but trying to rip me off? That's over board. Also, the service manager knew about the problem and didn't even try to talk to me. That's how low they are! Don't ask me for name cause I know all their names and faces. I will never go back to their shop and I will make sure ALL my friends and families are aware of that! Today, you just has lost a loyal customer and many more!!!! RIP!!! More
