We bought a Honda CRV in 2016 and have nothing but good luck with the car. So when we needed a second car we knew the only place and vehicle we wanted was another Honda product. We are at the door as it opened and there was Rory Shaffer to greet us. Rory what brought us to the dealership and what was it we were looking for. He asked what we wanted in a car, wrote it down and said excuse me, I will go out and look for the car you want. With in minutes, he was back with the perfect car for us. Rory impressed us as he listened, he knew the stock and presented it to us. We did not even question the price as it was exactly what we wanted. Rory was kind, funny, pleasant and knowledgeable. If you are in the market for a vehicle we strongly recommend Honda in Inver Grove Heights, MN and Rory. You will not be disappointed. More

I’m disappointed that I have to write this review because I had previously had a very good relationship with Rory Shaffer. About a year ago, a close friend asked me if I knew anyone at Inver Grove Honda who I had previously had a very good relationship with Rory Shaffer. About a year ago, a close friend asked me if I knew anyone at Inver Grove Honda whom I could recommend. I referred her to Rory because I had known him for many years and trusted him enough to recommend him. She ultimately purchased a vehicle from him. My understanding was that Inver Grove Honda offered a referral fee to someone who referred a customer who purchased a vehicle. I later saw an advertisement from Rory specifically mentioning the $150 referral program, so I contacted him about the referral. Unfortunately, I never received a response, and I was subsequently blocked. For me, this isn't really about the $150. It's about communication and keeping your word when someone sends you a customer. I referred a friend because I believed Rory would take good care of her, and I was disappointed with how the situation was handled afterward. I can't speak to the overall experience of everyone who shops at Inver Grove Honda, but based on my personal experience with this situation, I would be hesitant to refer someone to Rory in the future. More
