My service advisor was friendly. I had an 8:00am appointment. I was quoted $261 for an A/C recharge. I had to call at 11:50am to get an update from the advisor. He informed me that t I had an 8:00am appointment. I was quoted $261 for an A/C recharge. I had to call at 11:50am to get an update from the advisor. He informed me that the technician diagnosed the issue and determined that the compressor needed to be replaced. The new quote was $2,270.48. I declined the repair. I was charged $261 for the diagnosis. I got a quote from a competitor to replace the compressor for $1,100. I am glad I did not move forward with the repair at Inver Grove Honda. I feel like I was being taken advantage of with what they were trying to charge. I also don’t believe the technician spent $261 worth of time diagnosing the issue. More
