I was buying a new 2019 Escape because my 2016 escape (bought there at Prime Ford in 2016 . ) Needed a brand new transmission at 75,000 miles. I brought it in just before 60,000 miles to discuss issues about the transmission and nothing was done about it . the service department did not even put in the records that I talked to them about it . therefore there was nothing they could do for me because the warranty was up at 60,000 and I did discuss the issue in August 2018 just before 60,000 miles . And for that I am not happy at all with prime . I wanted to keep my car a little longer before getting a new car.. how ever I am happy with the new one . What has ruined my plans financially . Scammers SCAMMERS So after 2 lengthy visits I finally worked a deal directly with the “sales manager”-Josh. He said we got the deal. My original salesman Gene SCAMMERS So after 2 lengthy visits I finally worked a deal directly with the “sales manager”-Josh. He said we got the deal. My original salesman Gene (great guy) did some paperwork. Next I’m in the finance managers office. He makes a phone call, does some things on the computer. Then says I’ll have to finalize this in the morning, (it’s about 7:00pm) they are having computer troubles. I leave, but get a call 10 minutes later from Josh. He said that Ford Motor Credit had to change the deal due to my credit score. Now the monthly cost, deposit and length of terms are MORE. I return. He gives me a “paper from Ford Motor Credit” stating the change. I said I’d have to think it over. So I called Ford Credit myself since I had the guys name and number in hand! Spoke to the guy and he told me that the original lower deal was never sent to him. My credit is fine and he approved me for the terms given (Which are the higher amounts) So they lied to me about a deal and tried to blame the change on Ford Credit. I was steaming. Walked back into the dealership. Told Josh if the numbers were not going to work then why didn’t he say so. Instead of scamming me and telling me that Ford Motor Credit was changing the terms. I thanked him and walked out. Never again will I deal with Prime!! More
