Several months ago I had taken my Ford Ranger into Prime Ford located in Saco to have a rear window replaced under warranty. It took three trips to the dealership for them to take and get good photos of the Ford located in Saco to have a rear window replaced under warranty. It took three trips to the dealership for them to take and get good photos of the defective window which would be sent to FORD for warranty approval. A short time afterwards I was informed the window had arrived and was ready for installation. A scheduled appointment was made. Giving it some thought I decided not to have the window replaced, I did not want to chance any damage occurring to my Ranger having the current window removed and the new window installed. I canceled my appointment. I was then told by the service manager if this work was not completed within 7 days the window would be SENT BACK. I rescheduled the warranty work to be performed. Coming up to the appointment date I contacted the service department and informed them I was reluctant in having the window replaced, again, not wanting any possible damage occurring to my Ranger which was in NEW condition. I was then contacted by phone from the service manager and was told verbally that if I didn't have this work performed Prime Ford would not do any future warranty work on my Ranger. I was NOW told the the window could not be returned. A voice mail message stating the same as to future warranty work had also been left on my cell phone around the time I spoke with the service manager. I further explained to the service manager that in a earlier service performed by Prime Ford my Ranger was not taken care of as I had requested it be and this was one reason I was not going to allow them to perform the window installation. Like the Acura MDX as a car but this dealer was not forthright with me and did not appear to follow the regulations under Title 10 chapter 217 State of Maine requirements for repossessed car sale. No mention at time of of sale that car was repossessed nor did they provide statement at time of sale for me to sign. Found out repossessed when tried to register because their was a defect in title chain. (Funny carfax report did not mention either! ) At that time I requested a form to correct title and found it to be repossessed. In addition it was my strong feeling that their office suggested a little more insistently that I buy the extended warranty which I still have not received. I think even in absence of law, this was unethical not to disclose. I would not do business with this dealer again More

This department has gone terribly downhill. The manager is rude does not want to take responsibility for shoddy work. This is air conditioning in the summer It was already paid for so they don't care the inconvenience that it causes. This used to be a good department but don't waste your money go someplace else where they have Respect for customers and care about customer service service! I would give a 0 star rating if possible. The manager always blames errors in pricing on worker being new, appointments issues with inexperienced workers, would not swap appointments when one made by a new employee wasn't correct and threatened charging 35$ a day if the dropped of car wasn't picked up! . Michelle was my service manager. My motor home was tied up for 3 weeks. Throughout this, she kept me informed on a timely and consistent basis.
