You should have started the fuel pump first, then told me in 15 min you couldn't donit today. Instead I had waiting 90 minutes for that. Inspection should have come 2nd. We appreciated the consistent and timely communication of Alexander and Jessie, and that they respected not infringing on our personal space, as large investments often come with conflicting emotions. We also have heard from friends, more gritty than us, that they were very satisfied with the service department which was a very important consideration for us. The Ira Honda team communicated well, was responsive, closed the price gap between the dealer and us, put an HRV on a service lift allowing us some time to look at its underbelly and speak with Honda mechanics there (as I call it ‘’looking at the belly before buying the beast’’), are working to provide us access to the 'authorized service manuals' for the vehicle, and offered the pre-installed security system to be an optional buy. These were huge positive differentiator’s for IRA Honda from other groups, and made all the difference. Other dealerships were either not as responsive, responded too late, or didn’t respond at all during our research and periodic visits. This was important as we had to do a lot of advanced planning and sometimes take time off work as we live an hour away existing brick-and-mortar dealers/service stations. I do recommend your group highlight and promote 2025 ‘Right-to-Repair’ law in Maine to buyers, to let them know this provides flexibility to reduce maintenance costs on newer models that inherently come with increased technology. We were a little apprehensive beginning our search as we don't cycle through cars as many choose to do, but ended up extremely satisfied with our experience at Ira Honda in Saco. Thank you.
