I've had several bad experiences working with other dealerships in the area. It always left a very bad taste in my mouth. I have dreamed of owning a Honda Accord for a long time. Overall experience was fun. Dave Clifford saw me looking at CRVs and stopped by to help. He actually listened to my needs and researched about 6 or 7 cars he thought would be a good match. We test drove new and used models, he was not pushy, had a great sense of humor and was fun to work with, plus he remembered all the stats on my hero Tony Conigliaro and the loves the Red Socks! Quite refreshing after having had a ridiculous experience with a different dealership years ago. . .that one kept trying to push me into a mini van because I looked like a soccer mom and they had a glut of those they needed to get off their lot! Dave was able to narrow down the best options that were important to me and did not try to project or push his own ideas at me and we found a sweet ride that I felt totally comfortable with. They let me drive the car home overnight and show it to my family and really check out all that the car had to offer. My fly rods and golf clubs fit so it was a good fit! I drove back the next morning and we finalized the deal. Everyone in the office seemed genuinely nice and proud to be part of the Prime family. All of the managers and finance professionals were knowledgable and low key. Prime Honda has a nice way of making you feel happy about being part of their business. Thank you Dave and everyone else who helped me find the right car, I will miss my old one but feel confident someone new will enjoy it for the rest of its' days on the road. In helping my sister look for a car.. I was very skeptical in walking into a dealership.. My step-dad was a used car salesman for years.. The first time I went to look for a newer car, I had decided on a Honda Civic. I went to Saco and was lucky enough to have Rudy T. approach me in the parking lot. I knew what I was looking for, a Hond decided on a Honda Civic. I went to Saco and was lucky enough to have Rudy T. approach me in the parking lot. I knew what I was looking for, a Honda Civic 5 speed with no sun roof. There were none on the lot. Rudy was in touch with me once a week to let me know if one had come in. I settled for an automatic in the model I wanted because the manual transmission was not a deal breaker, it was a want and not a need. Finally, more than a year later, the car I wanted in the first place came in. Rudy T. called me again. I immediately went down to see it and purchased it. I did not trade in my other car because I already had someone who wanted it when my manual transmission because available. I passed my original purchase on to a happy customer. That makes two of us.
