I absolutely hate the process of buying a car - had been to a couple other dealerships and had the typical icky feeling of being stroked and lied to. My husband and I had been to several dealers before deciding to see what Prime had to offer. When we had been shopping for cars before going to Prime, we had noticed that most of the other car dealersh deciding to see what Prime had to offer. When we had been shopping for cars before going to Prime, we had noticed that most of the other car dealerships were devoid of customers, the showrooms were like a ghost town. When a salesman was showing us cars at the other dealerships, the other employees had nothing to do but stand around smoking and gossiping. On the other hand, Prime was a beehive of activity. All the employees were busy with customers or doing paperwork. The showroom was immaculate. There was a little cafe with snacks, comfortable couches, and clean bathrooms. Previously before visiting Prime I had emailed a request to Prime concerning some cars. Hannah followed up with a call. I gave her an idea of what kind of cars I wanted and she emailed me pictures and descriptions of several cars in our price range. She's a sweet young lady, very polite and professional. When we actually decided to go see some cars at their dealership, Zach came out and greeted us with a huge smile. Very friendly and helpful through the whole process. He went with us on some test drives and did not talk non-stop like some other salemen do. No high-pressure, just answered our questions with no hard-sell.. He's very pleasant and easy-going. Zach let us take our time deciding which car to buy and was very knowledgeable about the cars. On the second day we had settled on a car, but were still a little hesitant about it. Prime actually let us drive the car home and keep it overnight. After driving it home and back I knew it was the car for me. The next day we bought the car. Prime is very good about being realistic about the sticker price. They are usually at or below the Kelly Blue Book value. Their cars are not overpriced, so the customer has to waste hours of time trying to haggle a fair price. Then when it came time to determine financing Derek was very helpful. He explaining to us the logistics of the financing and all the details of the warranty. I told him what I can afford and he got me monthly payments that wouldn't bust my budget. Derek got me an excellent interest rate at a local bank. My husband had a lot of questions and Derek explained everything thoroughly. He took time to explain all the paperwork and there were no hidden "surprises" or add-ons in the F&I office. The last time I bought a car i was presented with a pile of papers with "sign here" stickers on them, and just told to sign w/o a chance to really read anything. Luckily my husband is very good at things like that and asked Derek to explain anything that was not clear. For once I actually understood what I was signing and did not feel pressured to rush through the process. We would definitely recommend Prime Honda in Saco. This is the place where we will be buying our cars from now on. Hannah, Zach and Derek were great! More

Was planning on visiting several dealerships prior to purchasing. But once I stopped at Prime Honda in Saco, met Allan Davis in the parking lot (singing and dancing I might add), I never thought about l purchasing. He as attentive, helpful, and obviously trying to meet my requirements and calm my stress regarding such a large purchase. His attitude was positive and accommodating and it felt like "we" were buying a car. I had been looking to buy a car for almost a year when I found a few cars online I thought I might be interested in. So I started out early one Saturday morning on my search. I went to another dealership prior to Prime Honda and did not enjoy that experience; it did not appear to me that the salesman was willing to put in the effort with me (he told me to add air to the tire, and could not remember my name) so I decided to go to Prime Honda, which was next on my list, hoping for a more positive experience. The first salesman to greet me was Dave Clifford, with a big smile on his face. My initial impression of Dave was that he was friendly and motivated to make me feel comfortable and at ease with the process of buying my first car as a single woman (which can be an intimidating experience). I came prepared with a list of cars I wanted to view and what I appreciated about Dave's style was that he was focused on my needs and wants and did not attempt to push me into something I was not looking for. There was one car I was really interested in but it was in another lot, in another town. Dave was more than happy to drive me to that dealership so I could view the car. Due to the car being a "new arrival" and still on the lift, I was unable to drive it that day, so Dave set up a meeting the following business day, reporting that he would have the car ready and on his lot for me to test drive. True to his word, on Monday Dave again greeted me with a smile, and led me to the car. While test driving, Dave was knowledgeable about the vehicle and was able to answer any questions I had. This entire process made me feel at ease and I credit Dave with that. I am now a proud owner of my first car and thank Dave for making that experience a positive, productive, and enjoyable one. He was entertaining, attentive, and thorough. I would highly recommend anyone going to Prime Honda to ask for Dave Clifford. I would not want to work with anyone else but him.
