My credit history is not as good as it once was due to the economy and myself being one of the many who is also struggling to recover. I did not get the feeling I was a third class citizen because of things and situation that was out of my control. I went in to buy a new Honda Fit, pretty much was set on what I needed. Also I was in a bit of a rush time wise, had to be at work in a few hours. The people at Prime were able to work out a deal for my t what I needed. Also I was in a bit of a rush time wise, had to be at work in a few hours. He said no problem let me get working on this right now. The next thing you know Fred says I found what your looking for and we will have it here tomorrow. We went in and everything was just what we wanted. Fred loves to help you find what your looking for and is very easy to work with. This is not our first time at Prime and it won't be the last. I have spent more time than I care to remember shopping for a new vehicle. Numerous vehicles, different salesmen, trade appraisals; everything that goes along with shopping for a new vehicle. Including P for a new vehicle. Numerous vehicles, different salesmen, trade appraisals; everything that goes along with shopping for a new vehicle. Including Prime Honda, I made trips to three different dealerships to test drive three different vehicles: a Hyundai Genesis Coupe, Volkswagen GTI, and finally the Honda Civic Si. The first two visits were NOT what I would call an exceptional customer experience. The salesmen were incredibly pushy, finance managers were overly aggressive with "closing the sale," and the overall process left me feeling less than satisfied. In fact, I walked away from a blow-out deal on the Genesis due to the fact that I was treated so poorly. I walked into Prime Honda this past Monday the 21st with a sinking feeling that this experience would be just like the previous two; Dylan immediately changed that. He greeted me promptly, and wasn't quick to jump to the sell sell sell mentality that I had been subject to previously. He took the time to get to know me and really find out what was important to me in a vehicle. His knowledge of the product line was exceptional (I consider myself fairly knowledgeable on the vehicles I had been shopping for, and walked out learning a thing or two!) After sitting down and addressing the concerns and needs I had, the Civic Si was brought out front and we took it for a spin. Once the test drive was finished I prepared myself for what I thought would be yet another hard sell...But this time, not quite. We talked about what I valued my trade at, and instead of throwing "REAL MONEY" trade appraisals at me the time was taken to explain exactly what the value represented and why. Not only that, the value was much higher than previously quoted trades! I was convinced; sold on this vehicle. I had to have it! Then it was time to talk price. Zac, the Sales Manager, came and sat with us and we worked for what felt like only a short time to get to an agreeable price. He explained that at Prime, it's all about taking care of the customer. His time, and mine, were valuable and he wanted to make sure I left completely satisfied. I assure you, the deal I received at Prime Honda is one that has left me not only taking the time to write this review, but willing to make Prime my choice for both friend and family recommendations as well as future purchases! In closing, I would like to emphasize that this experience was one of the friendliest, most personalized experiences I have had making a purchase (retail or vehicle). I am MORE than willing to recommend Dylan's exceptional service and expertise, Zac's personalized vehicle solutions for my individual needs, and the efficiency of the closing paperwork as handled by Mike Gibel. Please make sure you send your friends, family members, co-workers - EVERYONE you know who is looking to make that move into a vehicle purchase - to see Dylan Carmichael and the crew at Prime Honda; You will NOT be disappointed!! Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and professional. I was given a fair trade in for my used car, unlike another dealership I went to. My only complaint was that when I spoke with a member professional. I was given a fair trade in for my used car, unlike another dealership I went to. My only complaint was that when I spoke with a member of the company by phone I specifically asked about the fees associated with the purchase. I was told that the only fees were the thirty something dollars for the title and nothing else. I was not told of the $399 DOC fee, which was only disclosed at the end. This was not a deal breaker, but a little disappointing. Over all, the service was excellent and I believe I received a decent price for the vehicle. More
Salesman David seemed to be very knowledgable about his product. When it came time for trade-in prices we were far apart on prices.David seemed to think it was appropiate to pick the trade-in apart for his product. After 1.5 hours of being at this dealership and finding out we were left sitting there while David dealt with another customer that came in,we decided it was time to leave.In the future,if we are interested in a Honda we will go to a different dealership where the salesman is more courteous from beginning to end. Fred was very informative and helpful without being "pushy". Compared to other sales personel he was more personable and did not put us off with too much sales verbiage, yet he did get his sales pitche "pushy".
