We worked our way thru other dealerships and made it to Prime Honda in Saco Me.Maria Surprenant was our first contact -- we told her what we were looking for -they had one arriving in a few days--they looked at our trade and gave us top dollar for it . DEAL was done in less than 20 minutes from arrival-- WOW-- We picked up our new CRV in a couple of days--it was perfect. Maria was just super in guiding us through the dealership--- service dept--etc-and all the features on our new Honda CRV. I have been purchasing vehicles for over 40 years and I can HONESTLY say this was the best experience I have had in purchasing a vehicle. All the folks we came in contact with at Prime Honda were very polite and friendly--they all seemed to enjoy their work!!! John helped us with the cash for clunkers program. We traded in a dodge Caravan for a 2009 Honda Fit. This program proved to be a lot of work, and John was there to give us updates, and make sure we had traded in a dodge Caravan for a 2009 Honda Fit. The Fit was also priced 1300 dollars less to start than any of the surrounding dealers. Overall our experiance was great. Herb Johnson handled our first two tranactions and more recently, Maria Surprenant has handled our last four transactions. Maria has always been very professional and curteous and more than willing to listen to our needs and to try to help us meet them. She has always handled the details of the lease/sale with great care and we will definitely call her in the future for our auto needs. We have also been very pleased with the service department with all of our Hondas. When I went there to look at an advertised vehicle it was being viewed by another customer. I did wait an exceptionally long time there to find out that it was purchased by another customer. During that wait Maria was on top of it at all times giving me an update as the progress of the viewing by the other customer.. Unfortunately that vehicle was purchased by another but before I left the building they had located me, at one of the other stores a vehicle which I own now and like more than the one I originally went there to look at. Maria has helped me with any little thing I have had concern with and even gets me a cup of coffee when I come in for service.. I did not have a good experience at Prime Honda with sales or finance. Traciann in finance was unprofessional, rude, and argumentative when told I found a better finance rate at my credit union. Sales managers were pushy, aggressive, and attempted to push me into a lease and/or in-house financing. At one point, I was told I would not be able to purchase the vehicle at the agreed upon price unless I financed in-house. While Brian was initially polite, respectful, and helpful he proved to have poor professional boundaries as well as questionable judgment and moral character. I did not buy a vehicle from this dealer and would not recommend such. More
