I had been looking for a new vehicle since May, knowing my old car was nearing the end of its life. I had gone to several dealerships in the area looking at 4 or 5 different brands of cars. I told him what I was looking for and he listened... he found a few vehicles for me to test drive and was very informative about the features, as well as the pros and cons of how each might fit my lifestyle. Joe gave me lots of options, but never pressured me into something I didn't want or need. His manager, Zack, was also very helpful, and they worked great as a team to find the exact car I was looking for... a 2009 Honda Accord with a stick shift! Mike in financing was also really great at explaining all of my payment options, and I left feeling like I had definitely made the right decision with no regrets! Joe has been great about following up with me to make sure that I am satisfied with my purchase. When I mentioned that I might like to get my windows tinted, he did all the leg work for me to, again, get me the best deal possible from a reputable company. Michael was able to locate one of the workers who had a key and drove us to the location so we could compare it to the others we had driven. I understand he is supposed to try his best to sell extended warranties, but when you have declined numerous times, and asked for him to no longer speak of it, he continues. He made my sister and I feel stupid, even with the reasons we gave him. He got frustrated easily, and it showed through his voice and facial expressions. I would not wish this experience upon anyone. As a recent college graduate who has been in the workforce for about a year now, I was in a situation where I needed a new car, fast. My Volvo which I had for the past 3 years, and loved, was up for workforce for about a year now, I was in a situation where I needed a new car, fast. My Volvo which I had for the past 3 years, and loved, was up for inspection and in order to pass I would have had to invested quite a bit of money, which is something that was becoming a reoccurring pattern. My biggest concerns in buying a new car were the affordability, quality of the car, gas milage, safety, style, and how comfortable I felt driving the car. I was very interested in buying a Honda but kept running into problems with affordability. I had looked at Auto Trader and Craiglist as I wanted to find a car quickly, but wasn't finding the quality I wanted in a car. I went to Prime Honda where I worked with John Mullen. I let him know exactly what I was looking for and most importantly that I had a budget which I could not go over. John sat down with me to go through possible car and financing options. As this was the first time I was buying a car on my own, I was very nervous, and wanted to make sure I would get exactly what I payed for. John made me feel extremely comfortable and answered all of the questions I had thoroughly. My father also came along to ask a few questions and was very impressed with John's knowledge and professionalism. John was constantly on the look for used cars that fit my guidelines and called me immediately when something he thought might work for me came in. I test drove a few cars, all of which I liked, but nothing that I loved right away. After a few weeks, John called me immediately after a used 2003 Honda Accord with only 40,000 and all the accessories I loved (sunroof, 6 disk cd-player, and so on...) came in and urged me to come in as soon as possible, as this was a car that he thought I would love and would likely sell quickly. When I arrived at the dealership and saw and test drove the car I immediately fell in love with it. I was able to get a good trade in value for my Volvo, which took selling the car off of my hands and I felt a huge amount of relief that I had found exactly what I was looking for and more. John helped me finalize the sale and I was able to drive away with the car that day. I have been driving the car for a few months now and absolutely love it. I would recommend Prime Honda and John Mullen to anyone who is looking for someone to be patient and thorough and help find the car that is a perfect fit.
