CHRISTMAS SURPRISE RUINED I ordered a remote car starter on 12/4/19 for a surprise Christmas present for my wife, which was to be installed on 12/23/19. As we got closer to the service date, I also decided to add an oil change since the Civic was going to be there anyway. I did not hear from anyone at Honda about any delay or parts not being available until the day of service when I showed up to the dealership. I was told by my service tech Alberto, upon arrival that they didn't have all of my parts to do the install on the car starter and that "the brain" of the electrical system in the starter would be in on 12/24/19. I was quite aggravated since I ordered it 19 days prior and I told Alberto that "now I have to lie to my wife about why an oil change is taking 2 days because her car starter was going to be a surprise". He then stated that he would give me a complimentary oil change for not being able to get my car back to me when promised. Now on 12/24/19 I get the call from Alberto stating that my Civic is ready for pickup. I told him that I would be going home to pick someone up and would be bringing them in to pick up the car and I now I feel like I can finally rest easy. I brought my wife to pick up the car so she could drive it home and I would go inside to pay for it and get the paperwork for the remote starter and service. That's when my wife called me back and asked me about the remote car starter manuals sitting on the front seat. BUSTED! I had to tell her right then which ruined the way I was going to surprise my wife with her Christmas present. I went inside and told Alberto that my Christmas surprise was ruined and I got a "I feel really bad, sorry sir". Not only did I have to pay for the remote car starter and oil change (that was supposed to be comp'd) but my vehicle wasn't even really "ready" to leave. Alberto asked another guy to bring my car around so they could vacuum it and send it through the car wash. I told him that my wife brought her key FOB and already took off in the car and that when you call someone and tell them that their car is ready, that it should actually be ready. I don't have time this time of year to be standing around for an extra half hour to an hour for someone to vacuum my car and send it through the car wash when it's "ready". Needless to say, I'm not impressed with the way my situation has been handled. I've bought 2 vehicles from Prime Honda in Saco in the past 5 years and also have my service done there. This is the first time that something like this has happened to me at this dealership and it really sucks. When I called to speak with Alberto for a refund on my oil change, I spoke with Bobby because Alberto was out for about an hour and a half and there was no management in until Saturday. Bobby sits right next to Alberto and heard and remembered my situation for an hour ago. He couldn't resolve my problem and said that Alberto would call me back when he got back to work. More

I would like to say that I met with my service underwriter Albert this morning he couldn’t of been more pleasant very easy to deal with also had another issue that I wanted to attend to and I got underwriter Albert this morning he couldn’t of been more pleasant very easy to deal with also had another issue that I wanted to attend to and I got to meet the mechanic his name was Jay very knowledgeable very nice guy my overall experience was an A+ I would recommend your team to anybody. Fantastic Car; Disappointing Post-Purchase Contact Could not love my car any more than I do; it was a no-brainer for me to buy it from this dealership, despite its geographic distance, because it was d Could not love my car any more than I do; it was a no-brainer for me to buy it from this dealership, despite its geographic distance, because it was direct and straight with me, unlike the dealerships I was negotiating with in my area. No games were played. My only disappointment was that my sales person mysteriously stopped responding to my communications post-sale, and I didn't get an understanding from the dealership as to what happened. I was hoping to keep the contact alive. For anyone considering a modestly-priced hot rod, however, the SI coupe is the cutest car I could have bought and turns a hundred heads in its wake. No need to sell me on it! More
