I had a very unpleasant experience with Manchester of Subaru and would never recommend them. The purchasing of my car was not the problem, rather the support after the purchase. The car I purchased was Subaru and would never recommend them. The purchasing of my car was not the problem, rather the support after the purchase. The car I purchased was a used Mazda Speed6. Along with the purchase I chose to get the extended warranty that should have bumper to bumper coverage. After 6 months of owning the car I had a weird sound coming from under the car. I took it to Manchester Subaru and they found out that the transfer case had a crack in it and the total bill was $4000. They had it on file that I had the warranty and had the insurance company check the part out. Apparently, the insurance company was only going to cover a portion of the bill because the car had a pre-existing condition. The dealership sold me the very expensive extended warranty that should have covered everything. When I tried to work with the dealership to get this resolved I got almost no help. The shop manager said that they were not responsible and that I should talk to the GM or owner. After repeated calls not returned by the owner, I decided to finally email him. He got back to me and said he would review and get back to me. About a week later I heard from him and he said that they were not going to help me at all with the remainder of the bill because they didn’t know it had this condition. I even offered to split the bill and that was denied. The dealership checked the car out and should have caught this problem or at least stood behind the warranty they sold me. I should not have been the one to pay the remainder of the bill. More

I was thrilled with the New 2013 Outback Limited. There is so much new technology in this vehicle that my '07 didn't have. Joey Lebranche was amazing in taking his time and helping me set up the Blue Tooth/Hands free phone dialing and receiving incoming calls. The salesmen and owner of Manchester Subaru were very down to earth and answered all of my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend this great team Joey Lebranche and Todd Berkowitz. The entire experience was a pleasure. How many people can say that when shopping for a new car?? We went in on a Friday afternoon to meet with Joey LaBranche regarding a Subaru Impreza. He promptly introduce say that when shopping for a new car?? We went in on a Friday afternoon to meet with Joey LaBranche regarding a Subaru Impreza. He promptly introduced himself to us and made us feel very comfortable. Joey is laid back and down to earth, but still very professional. He went WAY above and beyond to answer all of our questions (and we had lots of them), even taking "laps" around the building to find a comparison car for us! He took the time to explain everything in laymans terms with NO PRESSURE or HYPE!! He stayed an hour and a half late for us. Did I mention it was FRIDAY night?! He also took about an hour to explain everything about the car to us when we picked it up. Joey helped make the car buying experience enjoyable and stress free!! We have told everyone we know that if they are in the market for a Subaru they HAVE to go see Joey LaBranche at Manchester Subaru! Thank you Joey for all your help, you rock!!!!!!! More
Today I went to the Manchester Subaru dealership to look at a new BRZ. This car was on my shortlist along with two others and I am in the position to purchase this week. We went over the trim levels and sho at a new BRZ. This car was on my shortlist along with two others and I am in the position to purchase this week. We went over the trim levels and showroom model with Gary. I was very intrigued about the car and ready to take it out for a test drive to decide if this was something I wanted to purchase today. They had at least 3 on the lot. I was informed by Gary that they don't really like to take the "sporty" cars out on test drives. At least not before running numbers. I understood this, as nobody likes their time to be wasted. Especially if I as a buyer may have had unrealistic expectations on payment. I Gave him my car's registration for appraisal and he put together a payment sheet with his manager. The payment looked good and we agreed we were in the right ballpark. At this point though Gary informed me we would need a credit check before taking the car out. I let him know I would not pull my credit and take the hard hit on my score in order to decide if I even liked the car to begin with. I have never come across anything like this at a dealership especially for a Subaru that is less than 28k new. I was quite insulted, especially since I got the feeling from the dealership that I was not serious. As soon as I left I called the Subaru dealership in Epping and set up an appointment to come down and test drive the same car. In so many words Manchester Subaru would LOVE me to buy my car from them, just go test drive it from some other dealership. Afterwards I went to test drive a BMW 1 Series from Tulley and was able to do so without a credit check or salesperson even joining me. I have never dealt with any dealership as bizarre as Manchester Subaru. I will be letting anyone I talk to about my experience know how many hoops Manchester Subaru makes you jump through just to TEST the car you may buy from them. I am sure there are plenty of cars salesman out there willing to work with their customers. More
We started looking for a subaru forester a few months back. We decided and new car was our best route to take. We live in Milford and have heard good things about the dealership in town. After a lot of b back. We decided and new car was our best route to take. We live in Milford and have heard good things about the dealership in town. After a lot of back and forth with trying to get them to match prices we decided to head up to manchester. Todd Berkowitz had given us a price on the phone about a week earlier which we thought Milford would maybe match. I don't think they believed us on the price offered so they said to go to Manchester and take the offer (the sly look in the guys eyes from the back room said "they will be back"). So we went up to Manchester. Todd was not working so we dealt with Joey. He looked at the notes from our conversations and Manchester kept their word on the price offered. So in about an hour and a half we drove off in a new forester. Joey was very nice. He didn't try to pressure you into a sale (granted I think he knew we were sold already). He is quick to establish a rapport with customers and make them feel comfortable. Like he says about himself, he belives thoroughly in subaru and has owned many. This was good to know. After the sale he helped with setting up bluetooth and was happy to answer any other questions. It was also a Sunday and was happy to stay late to make sure we felt confident with everything. Anyway. If you are looking for a good experience and want a subaru talk to Joey. Not one of those guys with a plaid shirt, suspenders, and a handlebar mustache who wants to sell you everything and will do anything to get you into a car. Thanks again! More
I was looking into buying a Subaru Forester, but did not have a lot of time to visit dealerships. I did all of my researching and negotiating online. However, I still was being pressured to go to the dealer have a lot of time to visit dealerships. I did all of my researching and negotiating online. However, I still was being pressured to go to the dealerships to talk, even though I stated that I wanted to come close to a deal first. Joey Labranche from Manchester Subaru was fast to respond to all my requests and not pushy at all. He cleary understood how I needed to find what I was looking for. Through e-mails we came close to an offer and within about a week I went to look at the car and was able to get the deal I was hoping for. I would highly recommend talking with Joey when you need a new car. He will give you the best possible price and provide you with the best customer service in a car dealership that you will ever have. More
I'll be honest, it started out rocky. After proving that I didn't, and showing I wasn't happy about the accusation, the owner Todd personally stepped in to make sure I got a great deal on the model and color I wanted (the competitor only had a lower trim, stick shift). Jack was a pleasure to deal with and my price was CRAZY low (below the lowest on true car). Other dealers talked about not wanting to lose money, these guys just wanted a car off the lot. Worth the trip from suburban Boston to do the deal and then have them deliver the car to my office a couple weeks later. Very responsive on email, and these guys have a ton of cars. Even the finance experience was great. I had to ask about the warranty (which I wanted) and got an invoice price on that while other dealers push the warranty and inflate the price. Love my new Legacy. This dealer isn't the flashiest, but they won my business and I can see why they sell a lot of cars. More
I had been looking for used cars online for a few months, I found one I could potentially be happy with. I sent an online “comment” to the dealership and within 30 minutes I had a response. I was driving a c I found one I could potentially be happy with. I sent an online “comment” to the dealership and within 30 minutes I had a response. I was driving a car that was not working for my family, yet I knew it’d be pretty hard to get a new car with how much I owed on the old one. Joe LaBranche was the salesman who contacted me, and worked with me through the whole process. When I got to the dealership I no longer was interested in the car I saw online, he worked all morning to help me get into this new car, without breaking the bank!!! He also made it a point to check in with me through the morning to make sure I didn’t need anything. He is by the far the BEST salesman I have ever dealt with. I wouldn’t have been able to drive off in my new car if it wasn’t for Joes determination to help me!!! More
