While we strive to provide thorough and seamless service, older vehicles like your 2013 Forester can sometimes present unforeseen challenges due to age and wear. We do our utmost to prevent such situations or handle them as effectively as possible. In this instance, I’m glad we were able to resolve the issue by getting the pump working again and completing the necessary repairs. We apologize for any confusion caused during this process and appreciate your patience. I’m also pleased that we could provide a loaner vehicle and work to minimize additional costs. While a loaner wasn’t available at the time of diagnosis, we offered to arrange a Lyft ride home and assured you a loaner vehicle would be provided as soon as one became available. Your concerns have been noted and will be reviewed with our team to ensure we continue improving our processes.
