When it comes to automotive service, many people are - George R Camacho

When it comes to automotive service, many people are understandably hesitant to trust dealership service centers, often fearing long wait times, high costs, and impersonal interactions. However, my recent experience at Quirk Works Subaru has completely redefined my expectations, and much of that is thanks to the extraordinary service provided by Mike Bolinder, a service advisor who is truly in a league of his own. “Everyone needs a Mike.” This statement couldn’t be more accurate. From the moment I walked in, Mike’s warm and empathetic demeanor set the tone for a completely different kind of dealership experience. He greets every client with genuine care and attentiveness, taking the time to listen and fully understand your concerns—no matter how small or complex they may seem. It’s rare to meet someone who truly cares about their clients to the extent that Mike does. He operates with a level of professionalism that is nothing short of exemplary, but it’s his empathy and personal touch that really stand out. Mike approaches every situation with a can-do attitude, ensuring that all of your concerns are not only heard but addressed thoroughly. He doesn’t just provide updates on your car’s progress—he takes the time to explain the “why” behind each recommendation, offering clarity and peace of mind. You never feel rushed or like just another customer in a long line. Instead, you feel like you are working with someone who genuinely wants the best for you and your vehicle. That level of commitment and care is something you don’t often find in this industry, and it’s why I believe Mike is someone you want to see every time you visit. Mike Bolinder Sets a Standard for Excellence Mike’s service doesn’t end when you leave the dealership. He ensures that every aspect of the process, from the initial consultation to the final handshake, exceeds your expectations. He follows up on concerns, keeps you informed throughout the process, and is always available to answer questions. Mike is the type of advisor who takes personal pride in ensuring that every client leaves satisfied, which is a rare and commendable quality. What really sets Mike apart is his ability to make you feel valued as a customer. He understands that for many people, a visit to the service center can feel like an inconvenience, but he transforms it into a positive experience through his thoughtful and proactive approach. Whether it’s keeping you updated on the status of your vehicle, providing transparent and honest advice, or simply engaging in a genuine conversation, Mike has a way of making you feel at ease. A Service Center Worth Visiting For those who tend to avoid dealership service centers, Quirk Works Subaru—and specifically Mike Bolinder—should be an exception to the rule. This is a place where customer service is not just a buzzword but a core value that is clearly reflected in every interaction. The team at Quirk Works Subaru goes above and beyond to create a seamless experience, but Mike is truly the crown jewel of the operation. His dedication to customer satisfaction is unmatched, and he sets a standard that all service advisors should aspire to. Final Thoughts If you’re looking for a service center where you’ll feel respected, valued, and genuinely cared for, Quirk Works Subaru is the place to go. And if you’re lucky enough to work with Mike Bolinder, you’ll quickly understand why I say, “Everyone needs a Mike.” His empathetic nature, professional demeanor, and unparalleled commitment to his clients make him an absolute asset to the dealership. OK I have to give credit where credit is due. - NegAtive

OK I have to give credit where credit is due. This was probably the hardest sale they ever made, and I apologize to Julie Andrews and Michael OConnell, and to David Melkonian for all the grief we gave them. But that being said, you can buy your Suburu anywhere, from the "big box" dealerships, or you can buy from a family owned dealership. The Melkonian family have been selling cars since Moby Dick was a minnow. I have bought many cars from their other dealerships ( Ford) but this was a family members first car and she wanted a Suburu. She had gone to 2 other dealers, including one of the bigger of the big faceless company owned ones and did not like how she was treated. She said to me that she was treated much better at North Reading Suburu. In the end she might have paid just a little more for the car she wanted, but not enough to get bent out of shape about. What she got in return was the car she wanted, fair treatment, and a dealership with one of the best Suburu service departments around and I can say that from experience. When you buy a car you are also entering into a relationship should you need warranty service. Being a small dealer they have the ability to work closely with their customers in the unlikely event you need warranty service. The big box service writers and service managers are not going to take the time to fight for you. North Reading will. Again, my thanks and apologies to David Melkonian, Julie Andrews and Mike O'Connell for all the trouble. All of you went above and beyond.
