Best experience ever had in purchasing a new car While doing a search of Rav4's, Irwin Toyota kept coming up. To tell the truth I never noticed Irwin and was planning to buy locally. Their web site allowed me to get a firm quote on a Rav they had in stock, note that the local dealer who I assumed was the biggest around only had three Limited in stock and the price was much higher at the local dealer. Luckily I was able to schedule some work in the general area of Irwin and I arranged to do a test drive. Geoff Cunningham was great, he is very knowledgeable and was very pleasant to spend time with. Wow they had ever Toyota in stock and in spades, I had many Limited Ravs to choose from and also a bunch of Hybrids to boot. I was too easy to fall in love with the 2017 Rav Limited Hybrid and Geoff and Dennis made the paperwork painless. Irwin was much busier than the larger local dealer but they were very efficient in dealing with all the customers and details needed to have a great buying experience. I would highly recommend the Toyota product and Irwin as a wonderful dealership. Thanks Irwin! More

He was very thorough, professional and patient. Josh in finance was also very patient. The warranty options were very overwhelming, but he was able to make our payment work. We really appreciated everyone's help. Also Steve Frateschi (internet sales manager) was very helpful in getting us information and quotes. We would definitely recommend this dealership. More

Alone I would rate him 4 stars -- only because the price he came up with was reasonable and comparable to other quotes we received, but not exceptional. The finance guy had a very simple job in that our credit rating was excellent so no real creativity was required. He was good until he brought out the list of "options" for various extended warranties presented in such a way that did not clearly identify not getting any as a choice. Most consumer agencies advise against these, so I politely declined and he did not really push it. He stated that he always got the most complete package on all his cars. The conversation could easily have gone like this: (FO = Financing Officer) FO: " here our or options for extended warranties. I always get this on all my cars " pointing to the most complete / expensive option that would have added about $4000 to my purchase) Me: do you buy Toyotas? FO : yes Me : please cancel this deal and return my deposit FO : why do you want to do that? Me : You just told me Toyotas are crap cars FO : I did? Me: You feel that it is likely you will have a lot of trouble with these cars after the basic warranty or you would not feel the need to purchase the extended warranties. Since you deal in these all the time I assume you know the cars better than me, therefore I must defer to your judgement and assume you are right. Since I don't want a car prone to failure I wish to cancel the purchase. ------------------------------------------------------------- In fact I know that Toyota overall has a very good reputation for reliability so I did not say what I was thinking. It is sort of sad that Toyota... like most dealerships, continues to promote these add-ons is sort of sad, rather than just standing behind their vehicles in the first place. I am sure they have very good stats on expected repair costs and price their add-ons in such a way that they will take in more than they shell out. So the odds are not in the buyer's favor. More

"Good work by all" Scott Hayward did an excellent job in getting us into our new 2017 Prius.
