"Ripped off"

Recently brought my car in for a standard oil change and tire rotation. The service advisor came up to me and showed me a picture that my wheels were crooked and I needed a wheel alignment. The car is only 2 years old with 8000 miles on it so not driven frequently. I never noticed any issues while driving nor asked for them to check this but he talked me into getting the wheel alignment anyway. I also wanted a full detail done on the car which costs close to $200. When I got the car back I found i received a regular car was outside and some cleaning of the interior. No wax job which I expected. My wheels and rims were still dirty. There were streaks all over with many parts not fully cleaned. They didn't even attempt to remove sticker residue from the windshield which i ended up getting off myself in 5 minutes with alcohol. For $200 I expected much more. I've gotten it done there before and the last time they did a wonderful job. This time was not worth the expense at all and I had to finish cleaning it inside and outside myself. This was definitely not a true detail job. I also do not feel any difference driving and believe they tricked me into getting a wheel alignment that I didn't need. My fiance was a mechanic for 15 years and also said there was no way I needed an alignment and doesn't even believe the picture he showed me was of my car. Last but not least, the service writer also said he would check my infotainment to see if it needed an update (under warranty) and I don't think that was done either. Definitely one of the worse experiences at this dealership for me and feel completely ripped off by at least $300.

"Terrible Terrible Service."

Have Tire Insurance. Got a blown out tire in the blizzard. Was told to come in and just get a Tire change. No problem. Get there waited 3 hours was told the standard CX5 car I have, they do not stock their tires. On top of that, the tire insurance company needs to approve it first. Service advisor called tire insurance company and said they are closed and he would call Monday or Tuesday or I should call and see if I can do better to get the authorization from the Tire Insurance myself?? And then to have them call Island Mazda that I can have the tire. Then they will put the order in for it and it should arrive in a few days. So, basically I have Tire Insurance. Stayed for 3 hours. Was told I CAN'T have the Tire for at least a week that is unless I call the Tire Insurance company or till the Service Rep gets around to it. So, I have to drive in this treacherous weather on a donut for a week back and forth to work at the least depending on if anyone contacts the tire company for me to get authorization for a insurance I've paid hundreds of dollars for apparently no reason? When I told the service rep I would have to go a week on a donut? He said you could always buy a tire at a tire shop. I'm sure that the tire insurance company would reimburse you. I said and you know that for a fact?? What if I buy it and they don't and they tell me I was supposed to follow that proceedure? Then what I paid $200.00 for a new tire and for hundreds of dollars on Tire insurance that I can't use?? I don't understand am I the First and Only person to have bought this Tire Insurance?? Cause no one seems to know what they are doing? I was told get the insurance when I bought the car. Problem? Come in. They change the tire right there and then. No prob. The Two service reps laughed at me and said they'll say anything to sell a car. Told me to Live and learn. Still on a donut and have to try a different location hoping the next one can actually help me out. 3 hours completely wasted sitting in their uncomfortable chairs.

"Worst customer service "

Worst customer service i ever received ! first of all i wanted to buy the car by them and after 2 times they made me wait over 20 minutes i decided to go to Bay Ridge Mazda ,. 5 months later i started hearing a noise in back of my car and went Mazda Services in Staten Island and saw a gentleman name Jason and first took an hour to see him and 3 hours to find out that they need to order a part after 4 hrs the mechanic called me to let me know that the gentleman name Jason will order the part and call me back , it past 2 moths and no one called me back , then i called the island group to complain and the Chris called me and said that he so sorry and he will make sure that this problem will be resolved , than pas 2 weeks and i did not get any call back from no one , then i decided to call the parts department and they told me that the part is long time a go here and the service department need to call you for appointment which never happened , very unorganized people and department , will never go back there again , i think Island Auto group need to find out about this .
