Being a retired pastor after 40 years of service, I have experienced service departments that were less than eager to work on my automobile because I purchased it from another dealership! Not the case with JC Lewis. The layout of your facility is wonderful too. Also, Mr. Barry Drummond took very good care of me. Wonderful Service I dropped my vehicle for the day while I was working out of town in the Savannah market. Within just a few minutes of dropping my vehicle, I received an email advising it was in queue for service and a link provided for updates. I had picked up a vibration on the way in from Atlanta and thought maybe just time to balance my tires ( I am in the wholesale tire business ). The team at J.C. Lewis discovered a missing weight from my driveshaft and explained it was under my powertrain warranty. Wow, and I thought it was just tires. The did continue and balanced my tires as asked which made it much better. Unfortunately, parts were not readily available so I will get it replaced in Atlanta. great team, great process and friendly smiles!! I would recommend locals and out of towners alike to use them if service needs arise. Thank you, More

The internet sales agent, the showroom sales rep, the sales manager, and the finance rep were all very professional - the listened well, answered all our questions, explained well, were fully attentive, very friendly and prompt, and got the deal done to our full satisfaction. Service Department Recently had to take our Lincoln MKX for a problem with the differential. Thankfully, it was under warranty and was repaired without a problem. I received a rental car ( which they paid for) because the part needed had to be ordered and the car was there for one week. Dan Holton was my service advisor. He was very helpful and took care of everything for me as well as keeping me posted throughout the process. My experience with JC Lewis was excellent. More

I have purchased many new cars over the years, but this Exceptional experience at JC Lewis Ford, Statesboro. I recently purchased a new Ford Escape. I have purchased many new cars over the years, but this was the BEST experience I have ever had. Salesmen, managers, and entire staff were friendly, helpful, and generally super. Not only did I find THE car for my needs, it was a pleasure doing business with the entire staff. Names that I recall are Mike, Larry, Billy, Zack and the finance manager whose name I cannot recall. Thanks to all for the outstanding experience. More
Unbelievable experience. I took my car here for a repair of the front bumper. They fixed the bumper, but decided to clean my car with something that left hairline scratches A I took my car here for a repair of the front bumper. They fixed the bumper, but decided to clean my car with something that left hairline scratches ALL over. The finish, the windshield, the windows, and mirrors. After arguing with them for weeks and being called a liar, they agreed to replace my drivers side mirror and window (they had the worst scratches). Upon picking up my vehicle, I noticed that not only was my window left un-tinted, but somebody had driven my car nearly 600 miles and my gas tank was empty. I was furious. They reimbursed me with a tank of gas and told me that somebody must have "stolen my car from the lot and took it for a joyride". I would never take my car here or recommend anybody to JC Lewis Ford. More
Bad workmanship. They did some service work on my last June, picked the car up on a Monday and on Friday the parts fell off. Dealers blame the customer for WARRANTABLE vehicle issues. This what happened to my 2014 Ford truck since new. Two dealers using the "Blame the Customer" game plan to keep from covering items under warranty. This what happened to my 2014 Ford truck since new. Two dealers using the "Blame the Customer" game plan to keep from covering items under warranty. The 2014 Ford FX2 crew cab rode rough due to tires that would not stay in balance from about 600 miles from new. JC Lewis Service Center tried but could not resolve the vibration issue JC Lewis and Ford said that the truck rode normal. I was feeling vibrations that wasn't there, though every tire balance at Goodyear found all tires out of balance. The one rear window defog strip quit working. After looking at the truck JC Lewis determined that I had damaged the strip, even though stickers and other items were place on or near that area of the window. JC Lewis would not change out the window. I called Ford Detroit for assistance. At Ford Detroit's suggestion, I went to OC Welch Ford for help. It was a waste of time since Ford Detroit had said no warranty on the window, since JC Lewis had informed Detroit that I had caused the defog strip damage. The window was changed a month later under warranty for the sliding window seal falling out and then being damaged by the window. Then I had issues with OC Welch's service. I had front tires wearing on insides and exhaust leaks at manifolds and slip joints. The exhaust leaks, I was told, are normal on these types of connections. I never had leaks on any of my other vehicles in 40 years, unless the connection was defective. Also the tire issue he said was caused by me not keeping tires properly inflated and taking turns too fast. This is a load of BS as inside tire wear is caused by front end alignment. OC said alignment was good and I needed to be more careful with turning and servicing my tires. Ford does not provide cam bolts to allow the alignment to be adjusted. Customer has to pay for the bolt kit. 3 hours after that discussion, the truck was traded in for a 2015 GMC Sierra SLT. 3000 miles so far and no issues with the truck or its ride. More

However, since purchasing the car I have been contacted multiple times asking for different information that they omitted to tell me during the car buying process. This information was information that should've been shared with me up front and wasn't by multiple people. Because of their failures it has caused me to go out of my way to make multiple trips back to dealership. I felt like their inability to inform me and then the way they went about asking for that information was unprofessional and wrong. Asking any customer to text the salesmen information that contained personal information is unprofessional. Also, I have e-mailed and called the general manager multiple times regarding this issue with out a response. After everything I experience with this dealership I would NOT recommend it to anyone. More
