Zach. You guys were great to deal with. Made the deal from Mexico and shipped it to Montana. Someday I hope to get to Montana to see my new car. You guys were great to deal with. Made the deal from Mexico and shipped it to Montana. Someday I hope to get to Montana to see my new car. More
Poor experience. Car not cleaned properly or ready for pickup at appt time with one week advance notice. Rushed through paperwork work with minimal explanations. Pretty awesome experience. Justin was very professional and courteous. My only complaint? It was so quick! I recently purchased a vehicle from J&S AutoHaus and worked directly with Adam. While communication was generally responsive, the transaction was more complicated than necessary. The dealership requi worked directly with Adam. While communication was generally responsive, the transaction was more complicated than necessary. The dealership required a wire transfer only, while mainstream lenders like USAA disburse funds via ACH. Even after USAA provided formal funding approval and confirmation of a pending ACH transaction with a transaction ID, the vehicle was not released promptly, extending the process by several days without clear justification. The dealership also required multiple forms of photo ID, including a passport. While fraud prevention is understandable, requesting highly sensitive documents such as a passport introduces unnecessary identity theft risk. In most vehicle transactions—even those involving lenders or federal agencies—a driver’s license with standard supporting documentation is sufficient. The ID requirements felt excessive for a routine purchase. After funding was confirmed and the vehicle was released to my transporter, the car arrived with issues upon delivery. When I raised the concern, the dealership moved quickly to deny responsibility rather than working collaboratively to determine the cause or reach a resolution. Overall, what should have been a straightforward out-of-state purchase became unnecessarily difficult due to rigid payment policies, extensive documentation requirements, delays in release despite verified bank approval, and a lack of support when the vehicle arrived with issues. Remote buyers should strongly consider arranging an independent pre-purchase inspection and requesting documented pre-shipment condition verification before committing to transport. More
Experience while I was there was great. After I took the car home, I found documentation that the local dealership recommended a brake job that was not completed by J&S, prior to selling me After I took the car home, I found documentation that the local dealership recommended a brake job that was not completed by J&S, prior to selling me the car. I’m also having some trouble with the LEDs in the car’s doors not working properly. I’ve only had the car about a week. It’s just disappointing that they wouldn’t complete that kind of work, before selling the car. It’s a pre-owned BMW, so I know what I’m getting into with the maintenance costs, it just would have been nice to know that recommended repairs by the local BMW dealership were not completed, before selling it to me. If they didn’t know, they should have, since it was right there in the glove box. Will end up paying out of pocket for this. More
