Good old fashion service My first time servicing my new van. From the appointment making experience I realized this dealership was different. Being a recall service, there was difficulty in obtaining a rather rare part. Talking to "bigger" dealerships I realized this re-call was going to be a pain . Most of my van friends all had miserable experiences with this recall. Well Baylee showed me just how different J Star is. She kept her word and got back to me as soon as she obtained the needed part. Though I contacted three other dealerships, Baylee was only one that kept her word. Some day I might hear from the others. As to the service itself, being a hands on type I enjoy following my vehicle's service visits. Well though I respect all shops' policies of employees only, I was allowed to watch the shop work while staying outside. Learned not to complain how difficult changing my 02 Boxster's air filter is after seeing one changed on a modern 911. Will never complain again. From a distance I saw my van's assigned mechanic struggle replacing the shift linkage. Of course he knows how but was glad I did not have to do it. The shift lever feels solid now, big difference from the original one. I was treated extremely well by what I perceived were managers and especially a shop foreman. Finally met my vans' mechanic when he brought it out and liked and thanked him. So yes I am happy I chose J Star to service my van going forward. More

The service writer did his best, even though there was a 4 week delay on my parts. The only issue I have is with whoever worked on my truck. There we’re screws on my floorboard, a couple of leftover nuts re 4 week delay on my parts. The only issue I have is with whoever worked on my truck. There we’re screws on my floorboard, a couple of leftover nuts resting on my tonneau cover, and my OEM seat covers on both front seats were not secured and the bottoms just flap and drag on the floorboards. Now that’s inexcusable. More

I pulled up and asked how long an oil change would take? He told me an hour so I waited. And actually sat for 2 hours. Before walking outside to see if my car had been started on. I walked in and tried to find someone to ask. But there was no receptionist, I waited and stood by the wall until I saw someone and asked him how much longer it would take. He said it was finished and he just had to gather my paperwork. No car wash for me car. No car sticker to let me know the next oil change. Nobody around to update me on the progression of the service. I had no sticker on my window to let me know my next oil change. So I called, I was transferred to service and the woman said would check on the mileage for me. When she clicked over it was a different new woman....not knowing who I was or why I was calling. More

Horrible service and communication. First online it states you open at 7am and no one answered till 8:30. Then I was told it would take 1 1/2 to do my oil change, 4 hours later they try to charge me $1 states you open at 7am and no one answered till 8:30. Then I was told it would take 1 1/2 to do my oil change, 4 hours later they try to charge me $128 for a service I had already paid, then they gave me my truck without a wash! Last time giving them my business! More
