Recently the engine seized up in my 2015 Kia Sportage and I had it towed to JTs Kia of Columbia for repair. Apparently it is a common issue because it was fixed at no charge to me under some campaign they ha I had it towed to JTs Kia of Columbia for repair. Apparently it is a common issue because it was fixed at no charge to me under some campaign they have. Cool. After they had my car for 3 weeks. I got it back and some of the components weren't working properly (door lock/fob and heated seat issues). These things were working perfectly when my car died. At my appointment today they told me that they did not touch these parts to replace my engine. I don't expect that they did, but when my engine seized it shorted the starter and it seems like a couple of other things as well. Of course they want $700+ dollars to fix it in addition to the $147 Diagnostic fee I had to pay. Ridiculous. Will not go back here again!!! More
I have nothing good to say about JTs of Columbia. Bought a 2018 Kia Optima from them. Paid cash. No trade-in.. Had problem with it. JTs picked it up. Said nothing wrong with it. They kept it 4 weeks a a 2018 Kia Optima from them. Paid cash. No trade-in.. Had problem with it. JTs picked it up. Said nothing wrong with it. They kept it 4 weeks and I finally had to get a state government agency to have them return the car to me. This was after many, many calls to JTs from me to them during those 4 weeks trying to get the car back. They NEVER showed any care or concern. The transaction with them from start to finish was the absolute WORST car buying experience I have ever had. There is no way I.could recommend JTs. More

My experience far exceeded by expectations. My salesperson was not only knowledgeable and professional but she was also personable. JT’s Kia totally amazed me. My experience with this dealership was not so good. Upon getting the truck and taking it home. I was told that I can bring back the truck at any time for it to be detailed. The previous owner must have had a dog smoked cigarettes and leave down a dirt road. I took the truck back to be cleaned only thing they did was vacuum it The seats look horrible. Overall the truck is in good condition. But when I called back to talk to someone about the problems that was on the truck no one could give me the right sales person. I even called and left messages for the manager to call me back no response. I just feel all they care about is making a sale.. More
I purchased a used SUV and had a fantastic Sales lady Bianca..My issues started the next day..my Newly purchased SUV hard to stay overnight at dealership ( new tires ..fantadtic truly thanks service mana Bianca..My issues started the next day..my Newly purchased SUV hard to stay overnight at dealership ( new tires ..fantadtic truly thanks service manager) ..The problem happened after I had been at JT Kia from 1-30 until 3 to pick up SUV after the tires & front end light were repaired a n d a wash & detail 1st issue - no wash- no biggie 2 issue - brought the car to me and said your all set..I am.happy ..open the door and the fort thing I see is the dirty sun visor with ve r y very dirty handprints..a food spillage at the driver door - windshield devider , I can't go d snyone to tell and so I speak to gentalman who are near service area He tells me he was only told to vacume..## I'm upset now it's several ours later and my new to me car experience has started to sink..I go. Speak to a man n the " fishbowl" area he was not concerned he actually. Ask me what. The matter. We put the tires on lke I told you we would , I was like yes you did but the detail ( do to it being very dirty and had some gross areas) was not done & the gentalman outside said he was only ask to vacume..?( at this point outside gentalman was cleaning the 2 specific areas I ask home to)I try to explain my feelings on this and was getting more frustrated and begain to cry ( I was feeling mad sad and several other emotional feelings)..The man then said we can lian you a car & take care of it..really it's Friday late afternoon I had got to. Off work and should be leaving with my cat that I'm paying for and not attempting to beg for that privlage! My whole experience that I had been thinking of for several myths took a turn at this point..then a very kind man. Mr Michael ask the other man to stop as he say how upset I was..we went outside he listened & Himself cleaned the other issues....I 3 rd. Have to return to dealership to get a new windshield( Supposed to be this Monday) and was told they would. Contact - text me..Its after ?8 PM on Saturday I've attempted to call no response _ I sent a text to Mr Michael - mind you I work M-F so a heads up about the appt time would have been great do I could notify my employer 4 th issue The lght that was repaired on the front was repaired However The SUV is Now Missing what looks to be the acces point to replace the lights decorative covering and looks horrable.. I didn't even look at the front on Friday I was so upset- I have reached out hopefully they will be stand up people in service department and handle ASAP 5 th issue went to leave dealership on Friday after the kindness of Mr Michael and I'm about to drive be of and an emergency light comes on the panel ..liw tire pressure Good grief said I placed d in park and went back in got Mr Michael and he goes gets someone from service..Thanks again! Seconds later 2 young men drive up pretty fast & I realize oh that's mine..walked over to express my Thanks and verify problem. .they were smart pants and said it just needed to be driven..Mr Michael shows up ask are we ok & tell him and Crank up to verify light is out...
