Car was not as advertised - convertible top did not operate. Before going to the store, we had called the sales team to inquiry about the car. When I asked if everything worke - convertible top did not operate. Before going to the store, we had called the sales team to inquiry about the car. When I asked if everything worked on the car, to include the top they said “yes, no problems”. After we arrived and discovered for ourselves the top did not work, my wife asked a sales manager about their truth in advertising, he got belligerent, slammed the car door, and basically threatened me with physical violence (standing within inches of my face, he even had his fists ready) - the other salesmen standing around the corner said to my sister "wonder what his is losing his (temper) over now". So his temper is a known fact, so this is an acceptable sales practice at JT stores? If you decide to go here, do not challenge the sales staff, as per my experience, your personal safety could be in jeopardy. More

Third times a charm First off let me say that I am reviewing 2 things, my recent visit and the overall satisfaction. I took my Optima in for the scheduled maintenance. Wh First off let me say that I am reviewing 2 things, my recent visit and the overall satisfaction. I took my Optima in for the scheduled maintenance. When I arrived, I spoke with Alvin who was extremely polite and very friendly. I informed him that I needed scheduled service and to look at a few things. One being the sound my pedal was making, if the car could be washed, and the tail light. My optima has roughly 30k miles on it. My review of Alvin would have been a 5 had he addressed the above concerns. However, I do not know who washes the cars but it was unacceptable as usual. It didn't even look like they washed it (this happened the previous 2 times) and when I went to pick up the car, no mention of why the pedal was making a noise. Now to the tail light. I wrote a review previously about the tail light obtaining moisture and being cloudy. KIA assured me that they were going to replace it. Well after 2 bad experiences and being lied to about them fixing it, it appears they have yet lied again. I asked Alvin why it would come back if it had properly been replaced and he told me he would look into it. When picking up the car, he told me that no where in the notes had a replacement part been ordered! So yet again, they lied, it is not replaced, and they "put a band aid" on it for the time being. Alvin told me that if it happens again, they will replace it. Really? It should have already been replaced. I have also left messages for the general manager regarding this as my car is under warranty.and it should have been replaced the first time. I am wondering how many other people have been told that a part was replaced and it really wasn't? I tried returning after being disgusted with the service department but this is what happens. It would be great if someone could contact me about this, but I can't seem to get a hold of anyone. More
