I have always had good experiences at Jack Chevy until my service appointment 10/6. When I arrived for my service appointment 3 employees were discussing a corn hole game and drinking. This conversation didn’t stop during check in process. When Tylor went over the prices they were different from what I remembered when I schedule the appointment. At first I accepted the prices because I thought I made a mistake. It took a few minutes for my adhd brain to process everything. I went back online to check the prices and they were the same from when I scheduled. Examples: tire rotation/balance $69.95 and Tylor said it’s $90. Alignment $119.95 and Tylor said $140. I was also quoted $100 for oil change. Tylor said this was because they didn’t have the stuff there and would need to outsource it. I have never paid more than $55-60 at Prompto. My car also has a rattling noise and I was quoted $170 just to find out what that noise was. I did text Tylor to let him know I had a few questions. When Tylor met me in the waiting area he seemed very annoyed. I asked about the prices. Tylor said the prices online were wrong and that is why he went over them with me. But I honestly felt uncomfortable with the conversation the employees were having during the check in process. It was awkward. And it took me a couple minutes to realize that I couldn’t afford to do everything. Also train your staff better. Some people don’t know how long each service will take. My appointment was at 8:30 and stupid me, I thought maybe 2-2 1/2 hours. But Tylor was rude when he said I would be there “well past noon” , like I should have known. He said next time I should just drop my car off. I live an hour away and its just not possible for me to drop off my car and come back. So I decided to just take my car and leave. I won’t be back to Jack Chevy and I know that doesn’t mean much. BUT… Jack Chevy DO BETTER! Fixed your prices online because I am not the only person on a budget. And maybe give an estimated time frame for services. Train your staff to have better customer service skills. I honestly felt like I was bothering your staff. More
