Do yourself a favor & shop someplace else. The sales Do yourself a favor & shop someplace else. The sales person we worked with was okay. He was friendly but not entirely competent. We tried 2 buy our Do yourself a favor & shop someplace else. The sales person we worked with was okay. He was friendly but not entirely competent. We tried 2 buy our vehicle on Friday but it didn't work out so we planned 2 return the next day but their Internet was down. We returned on Monday 2 finalize the sale. I sent a text 2 our sales person asking 4 the name of the finance co. b/c our insurance co. needed the info 2 find a policy 4 us. I expected him 2 have the info for us w/in a reasonable amount of time but instead it got 2 be 4:45 & our ins. co. closes at 5. He still didn't know the name & we had 2 ask several times. Our agent called at 4:50 to ask if we had the info. With minutes 2 spare he finally gave us the info. I almost think it was done on purpose b/c he kept offering 2 get a policy for us through some service that Prime uses. It was extremely stressful & no one at Prime seemed 2 care at all. We then had 2 wait even longer b/c they were supposedly cleaning the vehicle. Even though we had begun the sale the previous Friday. You would think they could have found a better time 2 get it cleaned. When we got in2 the vehicle we noticed the driver's side visor was disgusting. Looked as if it was covered in lipstick & other types of makeup. Thankfully we had Lysol wipes that worked pretty well 2 clean it. We expected the vehicle would have a full tank of gas but nope. It was about 2/3rds full which I suppose is better than near empty. We drove the vehicle home on Monday & didn't use it again until Wednesday evening. My boyfriend went out 2 start it but it wouldn't turn over. We called the dealership who told us 2 call roadside assistance. What a nightmare that turned out 2 be. It took 4ever 2 get some1 on the line as it's an automated system. We asked 4 a tow but when a man from a local tow company called he said he had only been told 2 give us a jump. He said he was sending his wife who doesn't speak English but not 2 worry she knows what 2 do. She arrived w/another man who barely spoke English as well. They brought a battery charger that either wasn't charged enough or neither 1 knew how 2 use. They weren't able 2 start our vehicle. So now we had 2 call back roadside assistance & place a tow order. By this point it couldn't be towed until morning. A new tow service showed up & was able 2 jump the vehicle right away. He then loads it on2 his flatbed & drives away. 10 minutes later he calls 2 make sure it's supposed 2 be taken 2 Bridgton. We were like ... are you kidding? NO! We told roadside assistance it was going 2 Saco. So, b/c the destination was wrong we had 2 pay the difference out of pocket or he wouldn't tow it 2 Saco b/c he wouldn't get paid. Imho, this should have been something 4 him 2 work out w/Prime &/or roadside asst. Our vehicle finally gets 2 Prime but not 1 single person called 2 let us know it had arrived & what we could expect. The following day I get a text addressing my boyfriend (they can't even get our numbers right), that said our vehicle was outside of the 3 year 36K mile warranty & it needs a new battery. This is what woke me out of a dead sleep. I'm not some1 you want 2 talk 2 before I've had my coffee. Now I'm thinking they made a mistake b/c we were told our vehicle had a 7yr 100K bumper 2 bumper warranty. Of course not being awake I forgot about the deductible. But still, 1. The vehicle is under 32K miles & isn't even 3yrs old. Not 2 mention that we had just bought it 3 days b4 the battery up & died. I sent an angry text 2 our sales person & didn't hear right back & so I called. He wasn't helpful at all & said he wasn't sure about our warranty & would need 2 speak 2 finance. At this point I'm really angry & said look, YOU sold it to us w/a bad battery & we are not paying 4 it so either fix it or keep it. The General manager called & said it would be taken care of at no expense 2 us. He also said he'd fill the tank but when we picked it up it was still on near empty. I will also add that as we were leaving (finally), we noticed another vehicle just like the one we bought but it was 2 years newer and came with the 7yr/100K warranty. We had to purchase that for the one we bought at an additional $3K!! The overall price would have been the same!! So, thanks Prime! We could have had a 2020 vehicle rather than a 2018. Such a 2018. This doesn't even begin 2 cover our aggravation w/Prime Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Saco. #BuyerBeWare More
These guys were very difficult to deal with, and not very responsive with online inquiries.
