Awful experience at the body shop My 2011 Chevy Cruze taken to Jack Maxton's body shop after an accident in February 2013. It took Jack Maxton's body shop almost 3.5 months to fix a $6 My 2011 Chevy Cruze taken to Jack Maxton's body shop after an accident in February 2013. It took Jack Maxton's body shop almost 3.5 months to fix a $6000 repair. That is just the start. I was told that the repairs were made with certified OEM parts and that everything was repaired to make the leasing company happy when it was time for my lease to be turned in. When I picked up the car I noticed a dent in the rocker panel. I asked the guy at the body shop if that was something that needed to be fixed and I was told that was the way the vehicle was supposed to look. Just a few weeks ago I turned my lease in. I received an invoice from the leasing company (Ally Financial) for over $400 in excess wear in tear charges that were directly related to the "repairs" Jack Maxton's body shop supposedly made. One ding was for the dent in the rocker panel and another was for damage to the fender that was supposed to be brand new. After contacting GM goodwill, they basically told me I was out of luck and that there is nothing they can do to help me out. If Jack Maxton body shop does there job correctly, I would have had no excess wear and tear charges. I called the body shop and was told that new management was running the show at this point. I received a phone call from the new manager of the body shop this morning and he was more interested in arguing with me then finding a solution. All in all, I was lied to and completely mislead by virtually everyone I worked with throughout the repair process. Not to mention the awful job they did repairing my vehicle. I would not recommend anyone taking their vehicle to this body shop, especially if it is a lease. Jack Maxton’s body shop dropped the ball with the repairs of my vehicle and now the customer is being held accountable for the terrible job they did. I will NEVER do business with GM or Jack Maxton again in the future. More

Great Over All Service I went to this dealership after visiting four other in the area, the price which they proposed for my purchase was the best in Columbu I went to this dealership after visiting four other in the area, the price which they proposed for my purchase was the best in Columbus, Ohio Area. Not only did they have the largest selection in the state, they also worked very hard to find me what I was looking for and ending up providing more than I had expected at a reasonable price. After working a long deal with myself, right before I checked out my new car, I noticed smug marks on the seats. Not only did they get some one to fix it for free, but they found some at that moment. This showed me how dedicated the sales people (Chris Yates and Rick Gibbs) and the maintenance staff was. I would highly recommend their service to anyone in the area looking for a new car. More

He told me that he and john kinda worked as a team; they helped each other out. Duane told me that he wasn't taking johns sale. I have a lot of respect that! I didn't see them as my car sales men, they talked to me like I was an old friend. I was introduced to these wonderful people by Gordon Rood, he definitely made sure I got the 2 best salesmen at jack maxton. Thank you guys, you made this an amazing experience! Jack Maxton just lost a 10+ year customer. I took my 2001 Tahoe in to see why it stalled on occasion. I had a 7 AM appointment and I was there early. By 11 AM they had no firm answers for me I took my 2001 Tahoe in to see why it stalled on occasion. I had a 7 AM appointment and I was there early. By 11 AM they had no firm answers for me and said that they needed more time with the vehicle. Then it took them 15-20 minutes to determine that no more rentals were available and I was told that I would have to come back some other time. I was upset because they did not keep me informed and, after 4 hours of waiting, they couldn't come up with a rental! I have spent over $10,000 in the service department at this dealership over 10 years. I was not treated as a valued customer last Friday. I got the feeling that they were too busy with recalls and other repairs. I'm not going back for service or new vehicles. Maybe another dealership would like a loyal client. More
