I have never dealt with Jack Maxton Chevy before, but I happened to see an internet add that looked to good to be true on a used 2006 Hummer H2. I went in, thinking it was some kind of bait and switch, and happened to see an internet add that looked to good to be true on a used 2006 Hummer H2. I went in, thinking it was some kind of bait and switch, and the next thing I knew I was test driving (and loving) it. My wife then drove it. All this time, there was 0 pressure...not even a mention of pricing, dealing, or any hard sell tactics. If there were, i was prepared to walk right out. Long story short I bought the truck, and have had to go back to the dealership to pick up a few things I left, and I continue to be impressed as they still treated me like an A-1 citizen, instead of like someone who had already made the purchase and no longer was potential business. Went out looking for a used truck they just happened to have what we were looking for. We spoke with the sales person and told him out price and payment range and he assured us he could hit our marks. We t have what we were looking for. I asked if we could come back tomorrow because we had a few others to look at and I wanted my father to look over the truck. The dealer opened at noon on Sunday my father living an hour and half away drove down. Just before heading out around 12:30 I got a voicemail from the sales person to call him back. I attempted to call him back 6 times because if it was sold I did not want to make the extra trip out there. At 1pm we decided to head out, we arrived told three different sales associates who we wanted to talk to. Finally the sales associate we were waiting for walked out. He approached us and said "we can't make your price on this truck we have far too much into this, have a good day." When just yesterday I was told that they took it in on trade and had to do nothing too it so it shouldn’t be a problem to get it in your range. I requested to speak with his manager and we were told that he is not in yet and will call us. Monday morning I got a call from the sales dept asking if I was still interested in the truck. I told him everything that went on and that I would still like to speak with the manger or better yet the owner, but based on everything that I've seen now I'm expecting to not hear from them. More
