They will have you test drive a demo vehicle with all the bells & whistles, while telling you they’ve got a car exactly like it “in transit” to their dealership and take a $1000 deposit, (which they tell you is refundable). I fell for this sales tactic and once that car finally arrived, it was NOT the car that Ron (salesman) and I discussed. Ray (Sales Manager) informed me that I can order a new car thru them for a higher price and months-long wait, which I chose not to do, because I don’t trust them after their slimy dealings initially. After Ron (Sales Manager) & Finance workers stated multiple times that they would refund my deposit, they reached out 16 hours later to say they will not refund my deposit, but hope I will choose to do business with them in the future. They are running a scam and I advise you to read & document every single item they present to you, because if you ask for a copy, they’re going to ignore your request, like they did mine. I hope BMW USA is aware of the shady business practices going on here….I’ve never encountered anything like this. Any comment on this post by the dealer is an absolute lie and poor attempt to save their reputation. More

As we begin the process I explain that I would be traveling from out of state to purchase and that I'd be more than happy to put a deposit down on it, as I was planning to come buy it over the weekend. They said that would be completely fine and that they would send me a link to apply for pre-approval on financing and to put down the deposit. DAY 2: I never receive a link so I go ahead and go to their website to apply for financing myself and then call them to explain that I had been approved in their system and wanted to put a deposit on the vehicle. They then explain to me that I wouldn't be able to put a deposit down because they had a lot of interest on the specific one I was looking at, and that if I didn't take off work in the middle of the week to come and make my purchase that there was no guarantee that it would still be available. I come to the conclusion that I have to act now or let it go, so I take off work and prepare to leave my house in DFW at 5AM to arrive at JCB right as they open for the day. DAY 3: I arrive at JCB to start my purchase, we test drive, inspect the vehicle, all is well. As we start the paper work and I explain that I was planning on putting a relatively large down payment on it and finance what's left, they explain to me that they can only charge 5k to a debit card and that their wire system was MAGICALLY NOT WORKING!! I now have to spend the next 3 HOURS driving over all over OKC trying to find out how to come up with $7,000 in cash on the fly. I call my banks (No locations in OK, couldn't pull out cash beforehand due to being rushed to come up there and purchase), I call friends, I try absolutely everything I can think of to make this work. In the end I end up having to call my boss and ask him to borrow the funds out of his company account and pay him back the following day, all to just make my down payment on this vehicle. As I'm sitting down to work on the financing logistics one employee in particular, Sebastian, is unable to detect my already extreme frustration and decides that it would be a good idea to try and strong arm me into buying a 3rd party warranty for this vehicle, driving my purchase up by another $4,000. I express that I'm not interested and am quite frankly just ready to be done with this experience. He presses me anyway and eventually gets me to sign on the dotted line and finalize the purchase. What these guys didn't realize is that I work in the Auto industry myself and am quite familiar with how financing and wires work, this company was ready to send me home EMPTY HANDED in order to pressure me into financing a significantly higher amount than I intended on this vehicle. 9 HOURS AT THE DEALERSHIP. SKETCHY SALES PRACTICES. STRONG ARM SALESMAN WITH NOTHING BUT $$$PROFIT$$$ IN MIND. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. JACKIE COOPER BMW MINI, I address you directly now. I know your game. I know how dealers work and how they buy their inventory. I know what you tried to pull on me, and I will take this story to the ends of the earth if I need to. Worst General Manager and Service Department. Never return calls and never fix what they are supposed to. We have had our vehicle in there more than 3 times for the same issue and the service manager n return calls and never fix what they are supposed to. There are no loaners if you need one for the day. More

Purchasing a new car is typically an anxiety producing experience, especially as a woman. Being the researcher that I am, in May 2021 I decided upon a 2018 BMW X2, in part for two reasons. 1) It is still experience, especially as a woman. Being the researcher that I am, in May 2021 I decided upon a 2018 BMW X2, in part for two reasons. 1) It is still under factory warranty, so if anything goes wrong, it will be covered. 2) It is also a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) BMW, so again, if anything goes wrong, it has coverage. This has been the basic strategy I have used purchasing cars previously, along with reading multiple reviews of the pros and cons of the make, model, and year. However, this was the first time I purchased a car that needed to be put in the shop about a month after purchase, then again, and then again, all for the same reason. This has all occurred since May of 2021. All totaled, the car was in the shop for over a month. Before I get to the worst part of this experience, let me tell you what they did well, they sold me the car, they offered a single point of contact while the car was in the shop, and they communicated with BMW North America when they couldn't fix the problem with the car. They did not communicate with me very well or almost at all without my prompting for updates. Jackie Cooper left me weeks without a car to drive and when I pushed for a loaner, as they advertised, I was told I needed to buy a Japanese model car. They would go several days at a time with no news after they last told me they were changing ABC or trying XYZ. No updates. Just nothing. Mind you, I *just* bought this car in May 2021. They advertise a 90 and 3,000 mile warranty, the car was in the shop within those confines. I was told that only applies to cars major system failures and the factory warranty and CPO would trump that. Meaning they will not purchase back the car. Yesterday, I was given back the car after being told the issue isn't fixed but their hope is that after two more tanks of gas, the issue will resolve on its own. The used car sales manager, Andy Womack explained this to me last night, 9/20/2021, then promised that come this morning, I would have the receipt from the service department explaining this again along with the most recent repairs made to the car. I was also told twilce that the GM would contact me, he hasn't. It is 4:23 pm. I have emailed Andy, reminding him of his promises. He hasn't responded. No one has called. It is well past morning. And I have a car that is not fixed and Jackie Cooper is refusing to stand behind the product they sold me. More
