David, we are sorry to hear of your disappointment with your recent service visit. After speaking with Stan Lewis, I was able to piece together what happened that day. First of all, our sincere apologies that we didn't have a loaner ready for you. Out of all honesty, it has been a struggle keeping loaners in stock due to the fact that we can't get more at this time. Unfortunately, loaners have to be processed out of the Mercedes-Benz courtesy vehicle program after a certain number of miles, according to our agreement with the manufacturer. Due to the new vehicle shortage all dealers are experiencing, we aren't able to keep our loaner fleet up to its normal capacity and it has caused a real issue getting customers in for repairs when they all state they need a loaner. At this time, we have been trying to space out the demand. Other times, we need to prioritize the loan of a vehicle to repairs that take more than a day to complete. We should have provided every extra effort to complete your "A" Service in a quicker than normal time so you could have finished your sales business that day and had the vehicle ready to go. We are thrilled to hear that you processed your lease into a purchase and we hope you will give us another chance to make your service experience an exceptional one.
