Used Rav4 I stopped by Jaffarian on my way home from work looking for a used Rav4. Frank was very nice and polite and answered all of my questions. When they I stopped by Jaffarian on my way home from work looking for a used Rav4. Frank was very nice and polite and answered all of my questions. When they didn't have anything in my price range, Sarkis got them to show me a recent trade in that was not yet available for sale. It was what I wanted although higher mileage than I would have liked. It was very easy to negotiate with Frank and the business team and I didn't feel like I was being ripped off or taken advantage of. I will definately recommend Jaffarian to anyone I know looking for a new or used vehicle. More

The sales staff that I worked with made me very comfortable and explained the various vehicles in stock that I might be interested in after a lengthy conversation as what type of vehicle I was looking for. I test drove three vehicles. I then purchased a Toyota Rav 4. It was quick and to the point as to the price and warranties. Thank you More

New car purchase I was very satisfied with the support of my sales rep and sales manager. However, EXTREMELY unsatisfied with the service from the business manager I was very satisfied with the support of my sales rep and sales manager. However, EXTREMELY unsatisfied with the service from the business manager/process. After agreeing on the specific car and prices with sales, I had to wait over 3 1/2 hours for the business manager. I ended up leaving as it was going to be even more time... They did send someone to my house to finish the process, which helped. More

Superior customer service In this day and age where customer service is non-existent, in my opinion, Jaffarian Toyota stands out like a beacon in a bad storm. From the minute In this day and age where customer service is non-existent, in my opinion, Jaffarian Toyota stands out like a beacon in a bad storm. From the minute I walked in the front door and was greeted by Gary Simard, I was made to feel like a family member. I was treated fairly and with respect and courtesy. I have never had such an efficient and pain-free car buying experience. Everything that Gary told me he would do (timelines, expectations, etc) happened. He didn't make any phony promises. He is very professional, knowledgeable and customer-centric. I will definitely be back! More

He brought the car to my home so I could look at it to see if I was interested; I have never had that experience before buying a car! . He demonstrated all the great features of the vehicle. Once I visited the dealership and purchased the Toyota Camry he delivered it to me again so I did not have to drag my sick child there. Great customer service!!!! Thanks again Xavier!!!! More

They should just hand out lipstick at the door. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I regret ever walking into this cursed place. I can't believe how many people are giving this place good reviews! CHE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I regret ever walking into this cursed place. I can't believe how many people are giving this place good reviews! CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK PEOPLE! THEY LIE, CHEAT, AND STEAL, and when spending very large amounts of money, those are the exact 3 words you want to stay away from. This was easily the sketchiest business deal I've ever been a part of, and I'm shocked because this was supposed to be a "reputable dealer" which is why I came to this awful place to begin with. They have just mastered the art of hiding their thievery for 75 years, that's all. I'm A 27 yr old male and I've lived in Haverhill all of my life. This was my first new car purchase so naturally I was excited. That excitement was quickly shot down by anger and depression, which still hasn't subsided weeks later. They used my own excitement and my own learning experience against me, and I've paid the price dearly. I write this because if I can save at least one other person from the xxxx that I have gone through, I feel as though it would be worth it. There were so many sketchy things about this place, that I honestly don't even know where to begin. They snuck $775 into the lease papers without me noticing because I also had accessories added on. They pressure you into a deal by saying "It's now or never,.. I thought you wanted a deal?" After a great deal of time discussing numbers. They constantly make mistakes. The number we agreed on in the front was never the same number once they take you in the back. There is some form of miscommunication between the sales rep and the actual guy that screws you in the back. It's so corrupt looking back on my experience. TRIPLE CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK! BREAK DOWN EVERY SINGLE NUMBER! DO NOT TRUST THEM TO DO IT CORRECTLY! THIS IS NOT WALMART. ONCE YOU SIGN PAPERS, THERE IS NO RETURN. After the sale was over I went back to see where some of the numbers where coming from on my lease paperwork. The guy working couldn't even break down the numbers in front of me properly! I'm honestly considering not going back for the 2 years free maintenance in fear that they are going to break something in my car and say something something along the lines of "It was like that when you got here". Cause' who cares about me right? I get this ominous feeling every time I drive close to this building now. Apparently I'm not the only one who feels this way about this place. When telling someone about my first new car they asked "Where did you buy it?" "Jaffarian" I replied. They said "Well there's your first mistake." Other people have said similar things to me. I wish I had done some research on the dealers instead of the cars before I made a purchase. See, the biggest problem is that they do all of this with big smiles! You can't call the police on them for trying to steal your cash like you would a normal criminal, so there is no punishment, you can't send them to jail, they just continue to do it. And when you're dealing with over $25,000 it's easy for them to slip in a quick $100 here and there and just take your money. You really have to dig through the paperwork to see all of it. It's really hard to realize all the things that are happening to you at first glance. They charged me $700 for a remote car starter, when I got home I found it's only $600 on their website. When I asked them about this $100 difference they said "It's only for the newer 2014 models that have the $700 price". Then later I realized they charged me $700 for a remote starter on a 2009 Chevy Malibu too. So that was the *Just For Me Price* and they again lied to my face. That instance is only scratching the surface. They charged me $775.90 more than what we agreed to for a brand new car and I agreed to sticker price! (Who agrees to sticker price!?)I agreed to sticker price because I had a wanted out of the original car these con artists sold me(09 Malibu) a month earlier because it had nothing but problems. Every other day there was a new issue. For instance the first weekend of owning it it rained outside. I woke the next morning to find the passengers side floorboard was full of water. Like you had poured a gallon of water on the carpet. That was only the beginning of the many issues which I understand is not their fault. So after about 30 days I went back to see if they could help me out or something and they said they would take the Malibu as a trade in but it will still have some negative equity on it. They wouldn't cut me any slack. (A 5 year old used car lost over $2500 in value in 30 days?) Since they would not go any higher on the trade in value of the Malibu and I felt like I was really fighting for every dollar, I was kind of stuck to pay sticker price on the new car. At this point of the experience I was extremely tired and stressed out, I've haver never been stressed out like this before in my life. Maybe I could have negotiated the price of the new car down from sticker price?, but I was caught up in the trade-in negotiation for the old car, the Malibu, but either way that's not the point. They charged me $775.90 MORE than sticker price on the final paperwork of the new car. I trusted them to print the right info on the documents but they never do. Silly me trusting these people. I didn't notice their mistakes at first because I had accessories added on to the car (like the starter) which appeared correct($695 for starter - $775.9 mistake)in the midsts of a $25,000 lease paper signing, it's hard to see. Also I made the mistake of coming to this place alone. They knew I was new and they pressured me into the deal that night. I knew not to make a decision the first night of talking, but when I asked the Sales Reps if I could sleep on the decision, because it was such a large one, they told me no it's now or never, knowing I wanted to get out of my old car, and after spending alot of time discussing numbers and such, they knew they could pressure me into it. It was late at night and they did. So I trusted them and signed the papers and went home. Come to find out later with a calculator at my home, that none of the numbers add up correctly. I called them and visited many times about this issue and what I considered "stolen" money for about 2 weeks until they told me it has to go to "Corporate" before they can write me a check for the difference. Finally I asked for a meeting with Gary Jaffarian to discuss some of the things that were happening to me. Next thing I know I'm getting a call from the manager saying "We got that check for you! Come down and get it whenever!". LOL. They gave me a check for $775. It was a $775.90 difference. Keep the change. You obviously need it more than I do. Since they just gave me a check instead of fixing the mistakes on the lease papers, I'm going to have to pay the sales tax on that $775.90 which in Mass at the current 6.25% is $48.49 so yeah, there's more wasted money. When I asked about the sales tax difference the man told me "It's different with a lease, so it's actually more like $6 in sales tax" Ok? So where is that $6? Ya, go ahead, keep that change too. I asked for the paperwork like the Carfax and the repair orders that they had shown me about the used Malibu right after I bought it. The sales rep hands my a bunch of folded papers as I walked out the door saying that was the papers I wanted. I trusted him to do this simple task without mistakes. When I got home I noticed it was only the Carfax papers. The $3000 worth of repair order papers was not there. Since it was a fairly new used-car this was almost all the work that had ever been done to the car. Usually repair forms are very valuable info to the car owner(me), as it describes all the things that have been altered on your new vehicle. I went back the next day to get the repair papers and they said they shredded all of it! wow. thanks. Apparently they shred all the papers having to do with the sale the very next day? No phone call telling me or anything. They just erased all the useful info after I asked for it. I paid top dollar for a remote starter on my new car. They had to alter the remote starter because it wasn't compatible with my car but they never told me this. They didn't have the decency or common courtesy of giving me a phone call to tell me it's not compatible. So now when I use the remote starter to start my new car and then go to get inside the car shuts off whenever the door is opened. So it doesn't work properly. After using the remote, I have to open the door and wait for the car to shut off, then immediately start it back up to drive away. It's totally bogus. You expect to use your remote starter to start it, then get in it and drive away. I don't know alot about car engines but I imagine it's bad for them to shut them down only to immediately start them right back up. It's alot of unnecessary wear & tear and gasoline. I never use the remote starter now, it's useless. It's actually embarrassing to use it around people. I never would have paid $700 for something that doesn't work right. Seven Hundred Dollars wasted. The sales rep also told me when I purchased my brand new car that me Sirius XM radio has a 90 day free trial, all I have to do is call and activate it. So I ask "Can I just call them in about 4 months so I have the free trial throughout the summertime when I don't have as much work, so that I could actually get a chance to play with all the stations and such when I have time?" "Yes" he replied. "The trial will not start until YOU call them and activate it". 45 Days later I get a letter in the mail from Sirius radio congratulating me on my new trial. I called them to say I didn't activate it yet and they told me "The dealership you bought it from called us and activated it for you the day you bought the car". So AGAIN another mistake costing me something ruining my XM radio trial. Cool. Thanks for that too. I fell for the "Resist All" scam also. Non-Refundable. For $700 they waxed my brand new car once. It comes with some lame insurance that if I get a stain on a seat someone will come to my car and clean it? or God forbid- I have to bring it to Jaffarian Service for them to clean it? Who knows? I can't find alot of info about it online. When I do look it's mostly car salesman saying it's a wax job. I got the "Tire & Wheel Protection" also. What a joke. The guy tells me "It covers anything that happens to your wheel or rim, They'll replace it. You hit a curb and damage them, They'll replace it. Pretty much anything." Then I get home and read the fine print it says "Does not cover collision or curb impact damage". Nice. At least that was refundable! I'm a noobie at the car buying experience and I got taken advantage of every chance they could. I'm being honest here and I'm trying to describe the details as clear as I can. We all know the devil is in the details. I'm trying not to let my emotions cloud my judgement so instead this review is based on fact. So you can understand my story well. You have to understand I'm not a wealthy man. I don't make or have a ton of money. I live alone in a apartment off of High St. I am trying to be successful and make the right decisions though to progress. I have always owned $500 cars up until this point in my life. This was a big decision for me to buy a new car. That's why every time I was taken for another $100 it's like another day of my life is being chipped away, like a hard swing of the axe chipping away at the side of a tree. I've considered not paying my car payments if they didn't pay me that $775 because I didn't want to give them any more of my money, yeah it would ruin my credit, but I despise thieves, and if I could cut off my money supply to them and their suppliers, then yeah that would be worth it to me. But they gave me most of it back, so I made my first payment so my credit is still good. But I'm not happy. I have this car in my driveway but it feels so empty. It's a reminder of all the money these guys have scammed me out of... "But that's what happens when you play the game!" People tell me. "It's all a scam, It's all a racket...". Yeah I got played. By the game. I feel like this whole thing, these people, this mess, this building.. this is the cancer that is eating the world. So Buyer Beware! Don't play the game!.... But if you choose to! Bring lipstick! So at least you can look good while you're getting screwed! More
