2010 Jag XKR, AC Problems, diagnosed & fixed correctly... I've had a used 2010 XKR convertible for 4 years (only 32K mi on car), and been to this dealer service for three oil services and 2 repairs (Rear end I've had a used 2010 XKR convertible for 4 years (only 32K mi on car), and been to this dealer service for three oil services and 2 repairs (Rear end links torn, rear toe links torn; Electric seat failure), Now, my AC was not really working. Earliest appointment available was a week out. It was obviously super busy when I brought my car in. Cars lined up waiting to check into Service, and the Service parking lot jammed with cars. Service Writer asked if it was okay to keep car overnight if necessary, I said "sure, it's my 4th car, don't need it to daily drive". I don't think I would have been eligible for a loaner car because of my XKR's age and it wasn't purchased there. They DID pay for me to have an Uber ride where I needed to go after checking my car in which was nice. They ended keeping it for about 3.5 days, but the tech (Metzger?) DID do a good job of thoroughly diagnosing, fixing a tricky leak problem with the AC. He also did a great job explaining in his notes on the invoice what he did and he provided one small/cheap required part at no charge. The car was nicely washed when I picked it up. There was a little tape residue on the front at pickup and the service writer drove the car up to Detailing and they buffed that off. This is a VERY BUSY Dealer Service. They are friendly and attentive when you are there. I really liked my Service Writer Alina Mars, my first time working with her. I've waited some extra day(s) to get my car back on a couple previous occasions there too, which in my case doesn't matter cause it's not my daily driver, but the fixes have always been made properly. If you have the option, you might want to get a loaner car so delays will not impact you too much. More

Not the best facility Coming from a Mercedes I was expecting the same type of service. It took me 45 minutes to turn in my car and get a loaner. When I asked the representative I was told that they usually do not vacuum inside. This was very unexpected and gross. Eric who was my advisor was very good and kept me up to speed on everything. No issues with him at all. He was very helpful and friendly. The facility for this service is also not in par with the vehicle that is being sold. I would highly suggest you visit Lexus and Mercedes service departments to see the quality that should be provided to customers when they purchase $100,000 vehicle. More

The question I have is when did standard oil changes go from $300 to over $800 on a 2011 RR Sport that's in great condition to start? The additional services that are included seem like a money grab and I have to imagine were included in past services. The other issue I have regularly is the feeling of being up-sold on additional services. My service advisor did a great job. He was friendly, gave thorough explanations and was very timely with communications. My issues with RR are obviously coming from the top given the service reps are not setting the pricing. The upsell may be coming from the top as well. Is there an incentive structure for the reps? I love my car and it keeps running so they are doing something right, I just wish the process was less salesy. More

Worst Customer Service for your money I do hope the mechanics working on the car were better than the people who set the service and then later jacked up the cost 300 dollars from the verb I do hope the mechanics working on the car were better than the people who set the service and then later jacked up the cost 300 dollars from the verbal quotation--in a matter of 1 hour. And then they blocked my email account when I insisted on finding out who or what department was responsible for this action. For the amount of money one invest in keeping your car with original parts and service level, you would think they want my business back. Totally confused. More
