I brought my 2005 Maserati in for service and while I was waiting I chatted with salesman Matt Hughes about Maseratis in general. He pointed out several and we discussed their merits. I liked the improvements that had been made since I got mine. I had not considered trading mine in as I thought that the new prices were out of my reach. Matt offered to let me take a test drive anyway. I was impressed by his knowledge of the car. He introduced me to his manager, Stephan Kacprzyk, who also was very friendly and said that we might be able to work something out. A couple days later I came in to chat with both Matt and Stephan and wow, a deal was possible. There had been no pressure from either of them, so I felt very pleased that I could get the new model at a fair price. Shayne Gilley in service saw to it that both my older car and the new one were in top working order when I drove home. She stressed that the mechanics were highly trained and treated the cars with great care and respect. I certainly would recommend Wilde to anyone who is interested in a beautiful sports car. More
Considering I find myself a car enthusiast I find myself disappointed with my visit. Over the past months have been doing some serious consideration regarding the purchase of a Maserati. I have owned several exotic and luxury brands since retirement. In the past I have always gone to Tampa because Maserati's had not been offered in Sarasota. My sales rep at Reeves was a true professional. He knew every aspect of the cars. He was engaging and did not just wait for me to ask questions. My visit at Wilde and time spent with Cathy was not only a waste of my time it was disappointing. She could not answer even the most simple questions regarding a Granturismo. She acted like I was suppost to just buy the car without her giving me a proper presentation. All she did was offer me a test drive and ask questions that made feel like she did not think I could buy the car. I found it odd that she had to ask the other sales rep Robby questions that I had asked her. When selling a car of this magnitude shouldn't she know more about her product? I had asked her what type of deals they had been offering on the Maserati's and she said to me " what do you mean by deal? And she tried to convince me there was little markup in these cars and that they all sold for MSRP! I actually was not even asking for a discount amount but was rather more interested in special financing and lease programs. Being so turned off by her rude attitude I left the store. All things aside I know this store normally has great service and sales reps with lots of knowledge and a professional approach. The Wilde group I know normally is a great place to buy and service cars. My wife drives a Lexus I purchased from Tom and many of my friends drive cars from Wilde so in close I don't want anyone that reads this review to think that Wilde is not a place to buy cars but would rather advise against letting Cathy Bellivie help them! Next time I go in I will call ahead and ask for a manager to set me up with another sales rep that actually knows their product and is a true professional. More

Many people who shop for cars have often heard those Empty words...."How can i earn your business". Well i actually met a person at Wilde Jaguar that really lives up to those words.....His name is Matt Empty words...."How can i earn your business". To make a long story short....i stopped into the showroom several weeks back spoke with Matt......told him i was looking for a 2008 Jag XK at a certain price point....he did not have one available, but said he would search for me.....as did 6 other salesmen from 6 other dealers....never heard back from one of them.....However i did hear back from Matt one week later just to let me know he was working on it . So with that one call he distinguished himself from a half dozen other salesmen.....his contact with me continued for the next several weeks.... No 2008 XK in sight at my price level....during that time he did offer me a couple of other brands all of which did not work for me....he then called back a couple of weeks ago and described a pre owned 500Sl Mercedes, that had just been traded, and in my price range. I did not want a Mercedes SL 500 (Objection)....and told Matt that.....Matt asked me to come down and just look....After all his calls to me....he deserved my coming down even just to say no thanks.....I went ....i saw....idrove..... bought.....Why........He reminded me of something i had said to him during our first meeting...."i want a car that offers a really "FUN" driving experience.....the car was a blast to drive. Our first interaction was with Cathy and she was personable and knowledgable. We returned, test drove, bought the car and Cathy and Shayne were superb in further showing us everything we needed to know to drive the car home. (the dealership had also offered us a very fair deal on our trade in, so no haggling and difficulties there). Cathy has continued to be great at follow up with coming in for a couple of accessories, car wash, etc. I had also spoken to someone ( I think it was Shayne) about care when the car is not being driven for an extended period of time and he was informative and eager to be helpful.
