I had been looking for an XK for a while. I would search for a car in autotrader or cars.com and then make an inquiry. When I would make contact with a dealership, if the car was sold the communication (us for a car in autotrader or cars.com and then make an inquiry. When I would make contact with a dealership, if the car was sold the communication (usually by email) would basically end. I found an 2009 XK at Wilde Jaguar and made an inquiry. within 1 hour David Bauer had emailed me and called me. I explained I was looking for a low mileage 2009 or 2010 XK in excellent condition and the one listed was perfect. I gave him the information on my trade in and while we were communicating someone else bought the car. Instead of just saying "the car is sold, thank you, goodbye" David went to work searching the entire inventory to find me a car. He took pictures of cars just coming in and sent them to me immediately. Based on his diligent effort, he located an almost identical car, except it was a 2010. Ultimately, Wilde Jaguar gave me more on my trade than any other dealer I spoke with. I was so impressed with the dealership and the staff that I purchased a service contract even though I live over 2 hours away from Wilde Jaguar. I did this because I am confident that I will receive the level of service I expect as a Jaguar owner. I have purchased over a dozen cars in my life and this was the least stressful and most professional transaction I have had. From my first conversation with David Bauer I felt he wanted to earn my business. More importantly, I felt he was most concerned that I was satisfied with every step of the process.
