I’ve been dealing with Land Rover Sarasota for about 10 years now and I can’t say that all 10 years ran smoothly but this past couple of months have been absolutely the worst. Came in to trade my lease get years now and I can’t say that all 10 years ran smoothly but this past couple of months have been absolutely the worst. Came in to trade my lease getting into a 2024 defender. Signed all the paperwork wasn’t informed of all the five added warranties that were on there drove off the lot drove back and an hour later returned the vehicle and said I did not want it with that being said it took about two months to get my down payment back. And on top of that he tried selling me a $80,000 car that was probably worth about 60 to 75,000. Went back to buy out my lease and that was another nightmare again I’ll add and warrantees were added . Called multiple times about related issues with the warranties and the down payment and seems like everybody was avoiding me I was actually able to get my down payment refunded but now I’m trying to remove all these added warranties and I am getting nowhere! More

In simple words, the Car was listed at 18500 and I paid over 31K, a bunch of lies, I was told that the lender requires gap insurance which was a lie, and I was told that the lender requires an extended war over 31K, a bunch of lies, I was told that the lender requires gap insurance which was a lie, and I was told that the lender requires an extended warranty, untrue. Every department was transparent but the finance person was an absolute cheat. After reaching home I contacted the lender and they confirmed neither an extended warranty nor gap insurance was mandatory. The entire transaction was cheated and fraud. The pre-sales person was extremely good, she followed up until the end and ensured that I had a good experience when I reached the showroom, her name was Stacy, I don't remember the name of the salesperson but he was also perfect, he explained all the car features, helped us making a decision, Ronnie who gave me the "Finala pricing of around 24.5 was evident and transparent. but when I reached the finance person things changed. He rushed through the process, and I was under the impression that the final price was 27K, he did not give me any printed copies of the documents, and he gave me an empty drive, after following up for a week, the finance person sent me 4 documents and I learned that I was cheated and the Car cost me 31K. I would discourage everyone from doing any business with this dealer. More
