I have been to many dealerships and have had my share of poor experiences. The experience I had at this dealership has been one of the best. Vehicle was in for the Annual service maintenance. Although it was I for several days (a bit longer than expected) Ryan the service advisor was great and kept me updated. The front end of the sale was good. Cash deal on a 2011 Lexus RX 350. I was assured by the sales staff that *any* cars with issues would go straight to auction and would never be in their lot for purchase: Lexus RX 350. I was assured by the sales staff that *any* cars with issues would go straight to auction and would never be in their lot for purchase: 2 weeks after i took delivery of the car, the dealership showed it’s true colours. The GM, Mike Knox, accepted ZERO responsibility for an issue with the steering column which will cost me several thousand dollars to repair. He instead passed the buck to Lexus of Sharon. It was clear to me from my last conversation w/ Mr. Knox that he has absolutely NO interest in standing behind a vehicle which his dealership sold to me just a few weeks ago. This is the sort of behavior i would expect from some shed mom and pop spot in a busted hill town. Mike Knox’s failure to address this issue is NOT doing the Herb Chambers brand ANY favours. The Service Manager at Lexus of Sharon has offered a remarkable polarity to Mike Knox’s absolute failure to accept responsibility and and address it. I will have my car serviced at the Sharon Lexus location until the wheels fall off. More
