Absolutely the most dishonest car dealer I have ever dealt with. (I have bought 9 cars through dealers in the last 40 years). I take responsibility for not following my gut and walking away when I voiced concerns to the finance manager I felt something was wrong. But he kept assuring me it was fine. I should not have trusted him. Phil, the General Manager did try to appear that he was trying to make things right but it was a pittance in the overall scheme. Because I didn't follow my instincts I was stuck with some ridiculous charges that they told me were not optional. A$399 anti-theft fee which I still have no clue what I got for that and a $2,295 (less $1,038 that Phil returned for my trouble) fee for "armor protection". Given that this was a former lease car I am sure it already had it. The finance guy was a total xxx. More

DO NOT GO HERE! !! I was interested in a vehicle, which I test drove. When we got back to the building, they told me they could not give me an estimate of numbers wit !! I was interested in a vehicle, which I test drove. When we got back to the building, they told me they could not give me an estimate of numbers without running my credit report- which is not true! Once I gave them the ok, Phil told me he was going to run it through ONE place. Phil submitted it to THIRTEEN locations without asking or informing me!! After I declined the offer to the sales rep, I went to Gordie Boucher which this is where I found out Subaru of Janesville ran my credit THIRTEEN times. Phil contacted me after I left stating he “got me the best rate” and proceeded to LIE about running my credit thirteen times. I then sent him a picture providing proof that he did in fact run it thirteen times. They are known for this!!! Do not go here!!! More

I just want to comment that Jonathan, in the service dept, was Most helpful yesterday. I stopped in after the tire pressure warning light came on in my Outback. I saw a nail in the tire and was concerne dept, was Most helpful yesterday. I stopped in after the tire pressure warning light came on in my Outback. I saw a nail in the tire and was concerned about driving home. Jonathan looked at the nail, said it was too close to the side to repair, took a measurement and advised I'd have to have a new tire "shaved" to match the wear on the other tires, explained why, and said it would be a few days to get that done. As I don't live in Janesville, he suggested that they could do it there, or I could go to the dealer nearer where I work in Madison. He gave me the info to provide to the Madison dealer, and reassured me it should be fine to drive, just watch the tire pressure. I am VERY impressed with his attitude. Just wanted to give a Kudo's for his help. THANKS! More
