I knew what I wanted and the deal I was willing to make. Sean was very accommodating in getting me fitted with the right car, not trying to upsell me on every little thing. I felt that he and Mark both listened to me (shocker, right?) and were genuinely trying to match me with my best interest. I simultaneously had a very poor experience with a different dealership I was considering and - were it not for a royal blunder by that other dealership taking my money - I would happily have made my purchase with Jay Honda. In the end, because of the other dealership's blunder, I was offered a discount I couldn't refuse. That should not be the norm for car buying. When I'm ready for the next car purchase, however, I'm going straight to Jay. I hope Shaun and Mark are still there! More

I have to give recognition to the CEO and the GM of the dealership that did contact me directly. It did take me a moment to call them back, but I did. They asked me to give them a third chance. My husband and I went back in and they gave us a deal that we could not resist. We were met by GM at the dealership and he took care of us. It is sad that it had to get this far, however they turned my frown upside down. I am extremely happy and grateful that the management recognized my horrible experience and reached out to mend what happened. If there was an opting for zero stars I would have chosen that.... My husband and I are business people. We know our credit is very good! We decided to upgrade our old Honda Accord for a newer model and found a 2017 Honda Accord that was beautiful. With excitement we were ready to see what the dealership could do for us. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT IN THIS DEALER!!! I WILL MAKE SURE TO MAKE MY REVIEW KNOWN IN ALL SOCIAL MEDIA POSSIBLE. Our saleswoman was amazing. She showed us the vehicle and the options and she did an amazing job. She tried to make a deal and this man came to assist. He was rude and deamining to my husband and I. He spoke to us like we were children and even made comments that were insulting, such as, "I don't want your coupe that bad it's not worth much" and started laughing. Or keep repeating that he needed to make his sales goal. He also mentioned that he needed 2 more cars to meet his goals and then said, "You help me I help you" .... (INFURIATING) Obviously, his concern was numbers and sales not the customer. He low balled us on the trade in value when KBB shows a higher cost than what he was showing us. This has made our want to purchase a new vehicle into a nightmare. We trusted that this dealership would be great and it ended up being a complete joke. No one should be treated like this. In addition to all of this he would threaten us with, "This deal is good for today. Tomorrow it will go back up." WHO DOES THAT???!!! I really hope that the GM or even the owner of the dealership see my review. I have never been so disgusted in my life. My husband and I take pride in the small business we run and we do very well for ourselves. I will be making a purchase somewhere. NOT HERE! More

Honest, straightforward, and led with their best deal My wife and I were coming off lease on our 2014 CR-V, and before we leased our next vehicle, we wanted to look at all of the other crossovers in that My wife and I were coming off lease on our 2014 CR-V, and before we leased our next vehicle, we wanted to look at all of the other crossovers in that class. We went down to the Bedford automile to look at cars across manufacturers, but it happened that our first stop was Jay Honda to look at the new 2016 CR-V. I had leased two Hondas from other dealers in the Cleveland area, so I assumed that if we went with another CR-V, I would go back and deal with one of them, but I figured we could stop into Jay just to get a look at the car. We were greeted by Charles Porter, who turned out to be extremely friendly and helpful. While Charles showed us the new vehicle, we allowed the Jay folks to look at my wife's old Honda and assess its value vs. payoff. To make a long story short, I ended up sitting in GM Mark Lyon's office negotiating the framework of a deal. Much to my surprise, Mark came right out and made me the deal that I had hoped to negotiate after many frustrating rounds of having dealers negotiate against each other. He didn't try inflate the deal by undervaluing my trade, and he made me an offer on the monthly cost of the new vehicle that I felt was close to as good as I was going to get anywhere. And this was his initial offer. Despite being someone who likes to haggle to make sure I get the best value, it was clear to me that Mark had taken all of the hassle out of this and put his best foot forward. He even told us that we could pick the color we wanted and if he didn't have it on the lot, he would go get it at no additional cost. I told him that we still wanted to look at other cars, but that if we decided to go with a Honda, I wouldn't go to any other dealer. After doing our due diligence and confirming once again that the CR-V is the best value in its class, we called up Charles and Mark and made the deal. A few days later, they had located the color combo we wanted and we picked up the car. The entire experience was an A+ and I'm just extremely impressed at the way these folks conduct business. I will definitely go back for my next Honda. More
