I visited 6 different dealerships for test drives and talked to 3 others via email; I was sick of cars, car buying, and stereotypical car salesman tactics. Some I couldn't give money to and others were only too eager to take what was in my hand, my pocket, my change tray, and my fillings if they were gold. I stopped into Jay Honda as an after thought. From the moment I walked into the door I was treated as a valued customer. It wasn't about getting me into the best version of what was on the lot, it was about getting me the best car for my budget and preferences. Ira didn't focus on selling me THE car, he worked with me to find the right car. Turns out that was a fabulous new car with some bells and a few whistles in all the places I wanted for the price I wanted. It was so easy and painless I almost didn't believe it. I visited late in the day, but at no point did Ira mention that it was almost closing time. I requested a test drive and the vehicle with the trim I wanted was stored on the backup lot. Ira just let me know he would be gone for a few extra minutes and got the car. I point out those two instances because a salesman right up the road did the opposite. The transparent buying process, no pressure sales, and rapport I had with Ira sold me a Honda in about 40 minutes (that's inclusive of test drives). I've already recommended Jay Honda, and specifically Ira, to two people and an out of state friend wants to come here just to buy her next Honda. I'm sold! More
