Tony was very honest and upfront about what I could expect if I gave him and Jay Honda a chance to earn my business. My turn-in lease with him was a fair deal and I never felt as if they were trying t expect if I gave him and Jay Honda a chance to earn my business. Add the fact that the car is a great product and they kept an already pleased Honda customer (own and Odyssey and lease an Accord) satisfied and this was a great experience! I had nothing but the best possible experience getting My 2014 Civic at Jay Honda. Tony Spitalieri was very friendly, informative, and to the point. The time it took to actually get the car was a fraction of what I imagined...Who knew buying/leasing a car could be so easy? Tony had me sold on the 2014 Civic from the get-go, although I originally wanted a 2013 model. The newer Civic has a completely different design and some added features that Tony was wonderful at explaining to me. The best option became very clear after not even 5 minutes of hearing Tony compare/contrast the two. I have been loving how easy it is to control my music, answer calls, and even set cruise control while my hand never even has to leave the steering wheel. As much as I truly love driving this car, I cannot wait to come back once my lease is up and allow Tony at Jay Honda to provide the best customer service there is when it comes to obtaining a car, once again. I truly applaud him for everything he has done for me. Thanks Tony! The Sales Manager and Finance Manager were involved as well and were a great example of how Jay Honda works as a team to make their customers happy. In addition to these two managers, I'd like to thank all of the employees at Jay Honda. Whatever it is they're doing to keep this business running, it's working great and I wouldn't have it any other way! If You need a car I HIGHLY recommend Jay Honda, I mean.....Why would You go anywhere else? ;) More
I am not sure how to explain this. To me it's fraud, but maybe it's just the way Jay Honda does business. In any case I think the public should be aware. Last week I went to Jay Honda used cars and Rick was my salesman. I had already found a few cars that I liked on their web site so I knew the prices. I asked Rick if he had any used Honda SUVs and he said yes and pulled a folded paper from his pocket with car prices on it. All the prices he quoted me were $2,000.00 more than the prices on the same cars that I had found on the internet. ( I knew they were the same cars because he showed me the paper & stock numbers). Now maybe it's standard practice to xxxx customers for an extra $2,000.00 if they don't have a computor, but to me it's fraud. Maybe it's just Rick's practice to raise the price to make more commission I have no idea, but just to make sure it wasn't a mistake I looked at a few cars and after I left I checked the online prices and all were thousands less. If this is Jay's way of doing business then I will never be back. More
I have always been very apprehensive about going to a dealership to buy a car. However, my experience at Jay Honda in Bedford, Ohio was Great! My first contact was with Mike Schaefer, who was wonderful. He asked me what I wanted and took me for a test drive. He answered all my questions and at the end of my visit, he said something that really impressed me..."I'm not gonna call you, you call me when your ready." That really meant a lot to me to know that he wasn't going to keep pressuring me to buy a car. It felt like he cared about what I thought and felt. THAT was what sold me and kept me from shopping around! Plus the fact that I believe he is just genuinely a nice guy! At the time of delivery, he spent almost 2 hours going over my car from top to bottom, to make sure I knew what I had and how things worked. Even though the sale was made, he didn't hurry me out the door. Again, that was very meaningful! I should mention Tony Spitalieri as well. On my second visit, Mike was busy with another customer, so Tony filled in for him. Again, another super guy, who listened to what I had to say and didn't try to push me into something I didn't want, or that was out of my price range. He was also very informative, and helped to make my experience great, just as Mike did. When it came time for negetiation, I never felt any pressure to make a snap decision. Tony said to me, "Make me an offer and tell me what YOU want to do." Overall, I never felt any pressure to buy a car and that had always made me feel uncomfortable about buying a car in the first place. These two guys are a credit to their profession, and Jay Honda is lucky to have them. I WILL recommend, these guys, AND Jay Honda to everyone I know who is looking for a vehicle. I've never been to a car dealer that made the entire car buying experience so easy as it was today. Ira deserves commemoration for his professional customer service today. He was never pushy or made me feel like I was "taken for a ride". I will definately spread the word on his excellent customer service as well as now, after now my 4th Honda, "Honda is the way to go!". My wife and I ventured out that bad snow day and as we approached the door Rick stopped us from coming in. What do want? I told him I wanted to look at the Audi and he said wait here, outside in the snow approached the door Rick stopped us from coming in. What do want? I told him I wanted to look at the Audi and he said wait here, outside in the snow with my pregnant wife. Eventually he returned and tossed me the key and went back to his desk. The car was covered with snow and he watched us as we tried to uncover the car. We eventually went in the store and asked if we could drive the car. With a discusted look on his face he says, Do you even have a job'? Do you have any credit? How much cash do you have down? No matter what I tried to say he put me down. I was very embarrassed in front of my wife and as we left Rick made a racist comment. I will never go there again and certainly tell everyone I know to run. What's really upsetting is that I called the owner of Jay Honda and told him what happen and he did nothing, because I drove through the lot the next day and Rick is still there. And by the way, I bought an Audi today for way more than your piece of junk. More

They asked us what we were looking for, showed us the vehicle, went over the features and test-drove the Odyssey im Friendly and down to earth guys. We were overly impressed with the vehicle and knew it would come down to the trade in value of our vehicle. We were miles apart on the first quote but were able to hit our ideal monthly payment and still having a great rate of 1.9%. Thanks for making it happen! More
