Comment on Service and Rough Transmission Shifting Dusty was prompt and courteous. It did take about 1/2 hour longer than estimated, but no big deal. I was told at the time I purchased the MDX that the Dusty was prompt and courteous. It did take about 1/2 hour longer than estimated, but no big deal. I was told at the time I purchased the MDX that the rough shifting would go away at approximately 5,000 miles and it has improved a little, but not near the smoothness of an Audi and a Mercede-Benz, that I own, and the 3 Lexus RX's that I used to own.
