We were approached by Adam Strouth, and we described basically what we needed. By chance, he had a car pretty close to a car that would work for my wife. It was waiting for a loan approval for a previous customer. Adam let us drive the car. He showed us a few more similar cars, but we decided to hold out for the availability of the first one. As he had promised, he later let us know that car was still available. We went to buy the car the next day after my wife left work, and he gave an explicit description of everything we needed to know about the car, its "certified" warranty status and how the financing would work. After signing the papers, we ready to take the car, but we lacked full coverage. Adam said he could save us a trip back the next day by contacting the Shelter Insurance headquarters so we could get full coverage. It was getting pretty late, but Adam spent a lot of time with the after-closing-hours agent getting us all set up. We have never had a better experience at a car dealership. Next it was on to the Finance Manager, Amir Akbarnia. We were tired after a long day, but Amir patiently walked us through the entire loan process. It was fairly quick and painless. Somewhere along the line, I needed to know how to get to the online loan application process despite Adam having told me how to find the link. I called the office, and after about a 30-second conversation, Emily Lewellen said she would e-mail the link to me. Every encounter we had, including a few I didn't mention, were helpful, friendly and competent. We had the total transaction culminated in about 34 hours from initial visit to driving the car home. LONG service with no result I brought my vehicle in on a Monday morning - had an appointment for an oil change and a strange noise search with the mechanic. Oil change was fine, car was even washed when I picked it up. BUT the problem was with people contacting me and keeping me updated about my car's situation. Apparently they needed to keep it over night, so I waited to hear. At 1:30 on Tuesday I called looking for some answers...or best guesses. Unfortunatly the mechanic had not even looked at it. EVENTUALLY I called back and was put on hold and then was called back by the service person to be told the noise I was hearing had been made worse and to fix it would be nearly $1,200. No thanks. To make it worse, my husband in about an hour stopped the noise. Byron is always very kind and listens, but the center must have been quite busy for him to not call me back. Good news - they didn't charge me for the service visit. More
Worst Used Car Dealership Experience Ever I have always loved Honda’s, and have owned several, but Jay Wolfe Honda’s sales and management team are Either inept or just don’t care about their c I have always loved Honda’s, and have owned several, but Jay Wolfe Honda’s sales and management team are Either inept or just don’t care about their customers. I bought a used Honda Accord from Jay Wolfe Honda on 5/29/18. I bought because they had serviced it regularly since they had first sold it and said it was a great car. Despite haveing reserved the car with a down payment the night before and setting up a time to finalize the sale on 5/29 with no trade in nor any financing, Jay Wolfe Honda made me wait 2 1/2 hours to see a finance person. When I finally got the car off the lot at close to their closing time, it had electrical problems as I drove it home. I took it back the next morning. Jay Wolfe replaced the A/C compressor, saying it was under warranty, but when they gave it back to me, I immediately noticed significant problems with the A/C, TCS and Speedometer. Thus, once again, the next morning, I took the car back to Jay Wolfe Honda. After trying to diagnose the car’s problem for several more days, they said they diagnosed the problem as the electrical cluster, but needed time to fix it. Another three weeks later (now a month after buying the car), they gave it back to me, saying it was fixed, but again all three problems were immediately evident. After initially refusing to take the car into service the next morning, they did agree to take the car into service when I called the Service Director. I asked the Used Car Manager to give me my money back, but he refused. I called the Dealership’s general manager, but he has refused to return my calls. I wrote the general manager an email explaining my situation asking for my money back or another car. I told him that the car wasn’t safe. Even though the dealership acknowledged receipt of my email, when I called and asked, still two days later (five days after my voicemails), I have received no response from the general manager or the sales group. It has been five weeks since I bought this used Honda Accord from Jay Wolfe Honda, and they still have the car and haven’t been able to diagnose the source of the problem although they have seen the symptoms. They are ordering another computer, hoping that might fix the problem, but they aren’t sure. They say it might be another week. Jay Wolfe Honda sold me an unsafe vehicle (with a speedometer that cuts out while you are driving) with other problems with the A/C and TCS as well. However, other than trying to fix the car (which has thus far been beyond their capability), no one except Jay Wolfe’s service area will return my calls. They have refused to buy the car back or give me another car. Although some of the people in the service area have been nice, but not all, they can’t fix my car and the sales and general management are the worse I have ever experienced. The Sales and General Manager won’t even return my calls or respond to my email. Buyer beware, this car dealership can’t be trusted. More

Outstanding service experience My son decided to borrow my 2017 CR-V Touring to take a road trip. My car just told me it was due for its first service (needed an oil change). Unfortunately, it was the Monday before July 4th, and he wanted to leave early on the 4th. I thought it would be impossible to get an appointment for service before the 4th, but my husband insisted I call. When I explained what I needed, I was given a Tuesday afternoon appointment immediately. I received an e-mail confirmation the next day. I arrived for my appointment, was greeted immediately, and had an opportunity to explain what I needed.After signing the papers to authorize service, I was taken to the lounge area. It has all kinds of different seating options, TV's if you want them, and a refreshment counter serving food and drinks (there's also a self-serve popcorn cart). The service was timely completed (actually more quickly than I expected) and the service agent went over the details with me (what had been done and the results of the vehicle analysis). He then escorted me out to my car. He was very pleasant throughout. And as part of the purchase of my Honda at Jay Wolfe, there was no charge for this initial service. My car was ready for the road trip and I was very pleased with my first service experience. Keep up the good work. Only thing I would change - I wish there were female service advisers. More
