All the regrets. He (Travis Jensen) said, “Actually, I am in a hurry because I have a date and I should have left 30 minutes ago.” This should have been the warning s He (Travis Jensen) said, “Actually, I am in a hurry because I have a date and I should have left 30 minutes ago.” This should have been the warning sign to simply leave this dealership, immediately! However, having the dream to own a Jeep one day was what was on my mind! My experience of purchasing my first Jeep was filled with disappointment, frustrations, and discrimination. I was lied to countless times, told I needed to hurry, and told I was “silly” and “dumb.” After signing all the documents, I was excited to have the dealership go over the features of my new Jeep. However, Travis said, “Actually, how about you come back tomorrow cause I really need to get going for my date. But could you do me a favor and give me a ride to my car down the road?” I left without anyone explaining the details of my new Jeep and realized the gas tank was almost on empty. I had to reschedule two times because the sales consultant didn’t have time to go over the features of my Jeep. At this point, I drove back and asked for another sales consultant to help me! I expressed by frustrations with one of the financial consultants (Jeff) and his reply was, “Oh that is just Travis.” Because I never want to step foot back in this facility, I wanted to cancel my oil change package and film protection. Jeff from finances tells me, “Why would you ever do a silly thing like that.” And later tells me, “You’re pretty dumb to cancel the oil package.” I then realized the $799 charge (that was explained to me as the film protection) was actually for different shield protection that never was explained to me but is apparently non-refundable. When I questioned them their response was, “Oh, we should have given you this brochure that explains the shield protection of your Jeep.” Therefore, I was charged for a product that was never explained. The one saving grace was Gage Mcdonald. When I voiced my frustrations he was the first to assist me in going over everything with my Jeep. Wish my experience would have been different. My hope is that the next female who goes alone to purchase her Jeep won’t be taken advantage of as I was. More
