2003 Ram recall on my passenger side airbag. Well, Chrysler has been sending me recall notices for a while now and the notices have been getting physically larger also. The last notice was a 6" x Well, Chrysler has been sending me recall notices for a while now and the notices have been getting physically larger also. The last notice was a 6" x 11 1/2" glossy post card! That did it for me, got to save the trees you know! Yes, I been procrastinating, I'm just one of those guys who doesn't like other guys working on my truck. So I bit the bullet, schedule work for 8:40am. Pull into a clean service drop off bay, greeted with big smiles. Jake the service manager estimated a hour and half and ask if I would be dropping off the truck or stay and wait. I said, waiting of course, friends don't leave friends behind. With that I handed the keys over. Sat in the waiting room and had free coffee, free fudge stripe cookies, free Wi-Fi, free TV viewing. I did a little Craiglisting and before the Price is Right showcase showdown, Jake return my truck keys. I was hoping for a free Battery because my was original "15 1/2 years old", but Jake said not everything is free in life. So true! I hopped into my truck and I was on my way with a FREE Passenger Air Bag ! Anyhow, I'll be for sure back in 15 years for another battery. Thanks Jake, you were great!! More
