When I walked into the car lot I was met by a very friendly man and when I told him what I was looking for he help search the inventory for just the right car for me. My wife and I went shopping for a new vehicle in 2008. We went to three dealerships, and settled on a 2009 Altima from Jeff Schmitt Nissan (lease). Since that time, we have swapped out the Altima for a S We went to three dealerships, and settled on a 2009 Altima from Jeff Schmitt Nissan (lease). Since that time, we have swapped out the Altima for a Sentra, and then last week, we purchased a new Maxima (2011) and a new Altima (2011) turning in the leased Sentra. We have been to NO OTHER car dealerships since August 2008 when we leased our first Altima. We are EXTREMELY please with the quality of the customer service and the management at Jeff Schmitt Nissan. The prices are as we expected, no surprises whatsoever, and in the case of the Sentra, Jeff VanGorder worked with us to give us the payment we needed at the time. We have no intentions of going anywhere else to purchase a vehicle anytime in the near future. Highly recommended! More

I have mixed feelings about Jeff Schmitt Nissan. Our car salesman, Chris Murray, was extremely helpful. The problem I have is with the final price we ended up paying for the car. We sat in Chris' office for over an hour, while Chris, the sales manager, and my wife and I, went back and forth to try and agree upon a price. Once we agreed upon a price, with tax, tag and title included, I thought that was the end of it. They did not have the car we wanted on the lot, which was fine, so they had to order it. When the time came to finalize the paper work, which was about two weeks later, we found out that they took away one of the rebates that was originally promised, making our purchase price greater. They said they could not offer the rebate because our loan was too small. First of all, how is that our problem, and more importantly, why didn't they tell us this in the two weeks it took to get the car? Looking back I wish I wouldn't have signed, but they already had a $500 deposit, which we may have lost. I would recommend Chris Murray as a car salesman, but in good conscience cannot recommend Jeff Schmitt Nissan as a dealer. More
