Our car-buying experience at Jeff Wyler Fort Thomas was our first and most definitely last. From beginning to end, it was a poor experience. Starting with the test drive, we scheduled it and arrived on-tim our first and most definitely last. From beginning to end, it was a poor experience. Starting with the test drive, we scheduled it and arrived on-time, only to have to wait for 20 minutes for anyone to even talk to us after we said we were there for a scheduled test drive. When we got the necessary paperwork completed for the test drive and got the key, we proceeded to get in a car that was dirty outside and in, had the fuel light on saying we had less than 30 miles to empty, and a tire-pressure monitor light on, indicating that the tire pressure was bad. When we mentioned these things to the sales rep, he said that the tires looked ok, and we should be fine, and that 30 miles should be enough for a test drive. So we reluctantly took the car out, drove highways and backroads, all the time wondering if we would run out of gas or get a flat tire along the way. We safely returned to the dealership, and began talking about a deal for the car. That went as expected, but when the sales rep brought out a paper showing the price we agreed upon, there was a line item of "Accessories" that was $3500, which amounted to almost half the sale price we agreed upon - meaning the car would cost about 150% of the negotiated price. The paper was literally pushed to us across the desk, indicating that we could sign right now and leave tonight with the car. When we questioned the "Accessories", he explained them to us, that they were either already installed (in the case of the pulsing brake light and the undercoating), or were just a standard recommended item (an interior/exterior warranty). We had to go back and forth for 20-30 minutes before "the manager" allowed these to be removed from the sale. This was probably a sign we should have walked away, but alas, we did not. So now with a deal with the negotiated price, adding tax, title, and other fees, we thought we were set. We signed paperwork showing the down payment amount, and the amount we were financing, and the next morning, we were able to pick up the car after it was haphazardly "detailed", filled with a tank of gas, and the TPMS light was resolved. We immediately noticed that the second key was not working, and we assumed the key fob's battery was dead. They said they could replace the battery for $25, but we declined, and replaced it on our own. Thankfully the key actually worked - I know with some cars, especially if this key was not an original or previously programmed to the car, it could cost $100 or more to get it programmed to the vehicle. We thought we were in the clear at this point - just needs some TLC and cleaning, but then the next issue arose. The second day owning the car, we noticed a horrible squealing/grinding noise from the engine bay. We did not hear this in 30 minutes of test drive or from the first day driving about an hour. We narrowed it down to the A/C compressor, and took it to a trusted mechanic to diagnose. They are replacing the A/C compressor, as the clutch mechanism is failing. Things like this are expected with a used car, but to happen one day after bringing the car home seems suspect. The dealer had to have known about this, but unfortunately unlike home sales, there are no disclosures required about issues on used cars. Caveat Emptor! The final straw that is prompting this review is that when we received paperwork from the lender and were able to access the loan account, we noticed that the loan was originated for $295 more than the "Amount to be financed" on the paperwork we signed. There is no mention of any other fee on top of the "Amount to be financed". And to be clear, this is not interest or anything else on the loan - the loan was originated for $295 more than the amount on our paperwork. I have tried contacting the dealer via every means published on their web site, and have only gotten responses saying they will get back to me. Maybe our experience is an outlier, but Buyer Beware! I've bought a few cars in my life, and I wouldent say any of them have been a great experience, but my experience here takes the cake as the worst, by far. I have never seen a more disorganized, disrespe of them have been a great experience, but my experience here takes the cake as the worst, by far. I have never seen a more disorganized, disrespectful, patronizing, and just downright shady dealership. First off, there is no way to contact anyone. The dealership has been straight up avoiding my girlfriend and will not take any calls. They were asked to produce a service schedule for the warranty, which they have yet to do. This is something that should be easily obtained. The credit union still hasn't received the payoff for the vehicle traded in, and the payoff is only good for so long. We've have had the car for less than 2 weeks and have drove it minimally. Took it to get an alignment yesterday (why didn't the dealership align it when they got it? Who knows) and was told the lower bushing controls needed to be replaced. This obviously wasn't done by me, so I Co acted the dealership to see if they would make it right. Of course, "it passed all our inspections" and that it would be my responsibility. It's my responsibility even though the car was not inspected according to the checklost you provided me? The checklist is just for show I guess, and nothing is truly inspected to the standard they claim to hold. Certified pre owned means nothing apparently. Again, no one from the dealership wants to communicate and are brazenly avoiding us since they got our money. After this experience, I will be doing anything and everything in my power to ensure no one buys a car from this location anymore. I will be plastering it across any and every social media avenue, and I'll make sure to mention it in any conversation. I'll be screaming it from the hilltops. You can't operate like this and claim to have the 'highest' standards. More

They picked me up from the airport and got me on my way really quickly so I could start the drive home. Everything seemed to go very smoothly. More
Dishonest dealership, terrible business practices! ! called to see an advertised truck on Feb 5. Doug Lambert answered my call and said he would have it ready to show, then called me back 15 minutes later and said it wasn't there, claimed it was out for detail. I told him to call me when it was back. Truck was listed for 42,900. On Monday price of truck went up 4k. I sent a text to doug to see if it was back and ask about the price change. He said he "was not aware of that". I waited multiple more days and all communication was initiated by me, not the salesperson. In the meantime the price changed almost daily, was over 48k at one point. Finally answered my message on Feb 15th and said the truck was back. Told him my concerns about the price going up so much and was told the price changed after it went through service. I told him I knew this was not true because carfax showed it being serviced on Jan 25th, well before our first contact. He said the price was 45,900 and that they would not make good on the price even though I was on my way to look at the truck when listed for 42,900. Will NOT even consider shopping here ever again. POOR business practices! More
The salesmen was very nice, however, the sales manager refused to sell the Jeep for anything except the sticker price. I feel this is unfair. Additionally, the offer for my card was 2k less than the other refused to sell the Jeep for anything except the sticker price. I feel this is unfair. Additionally, the offer for my card was 2k less than the other dealer. I found a keep dealer in ky that had the same jeep for 5k off sticker. 5k is a lot of money to me. More
If I could give them zero stars I would. This dealership has been the absolute worst in terms of financing, selling, and all around communication. They act like they will take care of everything for you, ye has been the absolute worst in terms of financing, selling, and all around communication. They act like they will take care of everything for you, yet forget about you once they take your money. I recently purchased a car from Jason Baker and he assured me that the financing would be easy, however, after I left the dealership with the car, the following MONTH was absolute xxxx. Apparently they DIDN'T finance my car and constantly messaged me demanding specific items otherwise they would come take the car. THEY THREATENED ME MULTIPLE TIMES WITH THIS. Once we finally got things going in the right direction and I had paid the first monthly payment, they mailed me a letter saying that they refused my request, however, the bank showed everything fine. These people have no clue what they're doing and I would never want anyone else to go through this horrible business. More
Reading through other reviews, and I agree with the fact they played some games with online pricing but this is not surprising in a sales environment. Anyway, Ed helped us out and everyone we encountered th they played some games with online pricing but this is not surprising in a sales environment. Anyway, Ed helped us out and everyone we encountered through the process was great. I highly recommend dropping by to talk to these guys. This was our first Jeep purchase here, we’ve purchased before from another dealer in the area but went out of the way to come here. Go see Ed, great guy! More
I would give 0 stars if i could. Worst experience ever. Crooked manager who lies and deceives so they can make more money off you. I went in to buy a car that was 3 times less than what i was already pre- approved for through my bank. Since my pre approval terms stated i had to get a vehicle under 100k in miles and the car i was purchasing had 102k the bank needed to look at loan then arrange how the financing would change. Instead of them calling my bank with the pre approval letter and letting them handle it, they convinced me that they needed to run my credit again.( THIS IS A COMPLETE LIE) They then come back with a higher rate than what my bank had approved me for. When i asked countless times to explain they just this is how we have to do it. On top off all that they had the audacity to tell me I HAD to buy one of their inspection packages for $299. Last i checked i dont have to buy anything extra than what i come there for, which was the car!! The manager come across cocky like he makes that decision. Well he was wrong again cause i made that decision. You cannot force anyone to purchase anything extra. He wanted to act like he could make me buy it. I did purchase the vehicle, which i wish i wouldn't have now because they manipulated me to make more money off my purchase. I wouldn't recommend anyone ever buy anything again from this dealership. I hope someone higher than the manger there would contact me and i would love to explain what a dirty, lying, deceiving business is being run there. The managers there were pathetic!!! More
Was excited about purchasing a vehicle and the process went smooth until Jason Baker called and said that he could get me a Jeep for a little over $27,000. I asked him if I qualified for the rebates and d went smooth until Jason Baker called and said that he could get me a Jeep for a little over $27,000. I asked him if I qualified for the rebates and deals that were going on and he told me that he would have no problem getting me approved with the deals. Long story short, he did not hold up on his end of the deal and was trying to get me the Jeep for basically the full MSRP. I have emailed him twice since then and have not received a response. If it wasn’t going to work out, why not inform me of that? Why just stop replying altogether? Would definitely not recommend going to him for a car. More
