He stayed right with us, answered all of our questions and was polite and very respectful! He made sure we were comfortable and happy with our decision to go with the Passport! I LOVE IT!!! Trevor helped us to get the payment we were comfortable with as well. We will definitely go to Jeff Wyler Honda of Colerain for any future vehicles. Also recommend Matt as the Sales Rep to deal with! Worst car buying experience ever! They would not match the price that we seen online that we drove over 2 hours for. Unwilling to negotiate the price stating the price fluctuations d They would not match the price that we seen online that we drove over 2 hours for. Unwilling to negotiate the price stating the price fluctuations daily and it will sell at this price if you buy it or not. We waited 7 hours due to internet outage and had to make another 2 hour trip to complete the purchase. No additional discounts were taken off the price for the poor service we recieved. Very disappointed that the man in the box who provides you with the price was so stubborn and had no customer service skills whatsoever. More
I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. I ended up purchasing a car from Performance Honda and had a refreshing sales experience relative to the one I had here. If you really wanted to buy I ended up purchasing a car from Performance Honda and had a refreshing sales experience relative to the one I had here. If you really wanted to buy from Jeff Wyler, check out the Superior branch first. Seconding other reviewers’ comments that it’s very disrespectful and slimy to pull a bait-and-switch on prices before coming to the dealership and on the day to the customer. I tried to secure a deal on a new 2023 Civic EX sedan with Jayson. We had agreed on $27,545 (aka MSRP) as the final price over email. MSRP is usually a price ceiling in new car sale negotiations, but I recognized my lack of leverage in the current seller’s market due to existing and upcoming part shortages. Additionally, I had talked to Jayson on the phone and through email about accessories I had seen on the Honda website (e.g. splash guards) and Jeff Wyler packages and add-ons (e.g. WylerCare, gap insurance, etc.), but he claimed that the vehicle is sold on its own, that these accessories and add-ons could not be pre-ordered or their prices predetermined, and that we would need to discuss them in detail on the day I come in to finalize a sale. When I finally got to the dealership, Jayson told me he just found out that the one Civic EX in stock was pre-sold at a sister dealership, but that he had another one on the way that I could sign for and reserve that day. I understood the original price we had discussed would be honored. However, once they ran my credit (which came back good), he came back with a new proposal. He was trying to tack on ~$8,000 in accessories – more than a third of the price of the $27,545 car – claiming that these accessories and add-ons (like the splash guards, Pulse braking lights, WylerCare protection plan, and VIN etching) came with the car and could not be removed unless they caught the shipment before it went through their service department’s intake. Jayson even got a manager from the service department to the table to second what he was saying. The manager claimed that all cars are sold with these add-ons to maintain their President’s award-winning sales and service performance. He and Jayson drew up this big narrative of “Mr. Jeff Wyler” personally requesting these accessories be added onto all cars sold and that they’ve always conducted sales this way. I made it clear that I’d only consider moving forward with a purchase if all accessories and add-ons were removed and the original deal was honored. Their response was if I didn’t buy it with all the accessories, someone else who would do so would come along soon enough. I walked out shortly after. Jayson texted me a few days later to say that he got his manager to remove like two or three of the, not even joking, twelve add-ons they were trying to force me into paying for. To put it bluntly, I would suggest they brush up on customer service and sales tactics and you look into other dealers too if you consider them as an option. I’m pretty certain an award that “recognizes dealers who honor their relationship with customers by achieving excellence throughout their sales and service operations” that is earned by meeting “all the award criteria” and “new-vehicle sales objective” should be most impacted by basic customer respect and service. Even in a seller’s market, I felt outright insulted that they believed that I would be naive or desperate enough to pay $8,000 for clearly optional and upcharged accessories/add-ons for as basic a car as a Civic (e.g. splash guards are $113 on Honda’s official website at the time I’m writing this, but Wyler was trying to get $899 for them and in what world is any kind of insurance from the dealer not optional?). Jayson further contradicted himself in saying the accessories (even Wyler-specific ones like the Pulse braking lights) couldn’t be removed when the vehicle was not even in their clutches yet. So, it seems that they’re slimy dealership-wide – sales, service, and finance. More
Very easy process from initial contact through final sale. Jeaneen was wonderful throughout the entire process. We were able to accomplish most information transfer over email and text since I am 2 ho sale. Jeaneen was wonderful throughout the entire process. We were in the process of buying a car and having it shipped to us. They had run a hard inquiry on our credit and we were awaiting the final payment information and to find out when they would be shippi shipped to us. They had run a hard inquiry on our credit and we were awaiting the final payment information and to find out when they would be shipping it. Then they wouldn’t answer calls or emails. When we finally got ahold of someone, they told us it needed a couple of repairs and they would let us know how long their service department would have it. Finally, a week and one hard credit inquiry later, we find out it had been sold out from underneath us. Steer clear at all costs, unless you want to play phone tag and have your credit dinged for a vehicle you’ll never get. More
Complimented my credit score and then insulted my intelligence. $10k markup (generously brought down to $5k), another $1300 in mandatory add-ons, and the paper they showed me didn't even include the intelligence. $10k markup (generously brought down to $5k), another $1300 in mandatory add-ons, and the paper they showed me didn't even include the financing rates or total cost of the vehicle. The absolute worst of the worst. Kevin was arrogant and rude. He has zero customer service skills. They lure you in with a trade in value then do don’t follow through. Slimy. The only silver lining was Jordan who was customer service oriented, communicative and friendly. Do not shop there unless you want to be treated like dirt and are looking for a fight. More
