Poor sales experience and equally poor service experiences They charged me way more than we had agreed to for my odyssey. I only noticed it after I got home with the car, and then had to go back and fight with They charged me way more than we had agreed to for my odyssey. I only noticed it after I got home with the car, and then had to go back and fight with them and show them all of my notes to get the agreed upon price. They said they would "throw in" a service package and then charged me for it, and upped the agreed on price of the car. Read your paperwork carefully. I am about a year and a half into my car and because of the aforementioned service package I go back for oil changes and tire rotations. They are NOT timely in their service appointments (I had an appointment and waited over an hour for my car to even get taken back). After the oil change I drove away and noticed it seemed like my car wasn't driving right. I took the car to my "small business" mechanic and told him the problem and he looked and said they "Forgot to put the cap for the air filter back on. I mean, who does that?? Jeff Wyler service technicians, that's who. Save yourself the trouble, and don't go here. More

Excellent customer and vehicle service. I bought my car from Jeff Wyler Colerain, and always return to have it serviced. The mechanics are very helpful and nice. My only complaint would be that a few months ago I came in for my 30k maintenance and requested for the windshield wipers are changed. Unfortunately the mechanic forgot, however offered to have them installed with no cost the next time I came in for service. I returned for my oil change, and they did not honor this as there were no notes or paperwork verifying this. Although I understand their point, I was still a little frustrated. Nonetheless, I would return to have my car serviced here as they are generally efficient, knowledgeable and nice. Excellent customer service. More
Buyer BEWARE!! We bought a "certified" 2013 Pilot and after the dealership refused to give us the certification checklist we called Honda and the dealership ignored We bought a "certified" 2013 Pilot and after the dealership refused to give us the certification checklist we called Honda and the dealership ignored Honda! Finally, the dealership's attorney sent it to us. On the Honda 182 Point Inspection Checklist, and there are multiple areas of concern. We question the authenticity of signatures on this document and we believe they falsified these documents after signing. Why else would they NOT have given us this information over 3 weeks ago when we and Honda requested it? Items 49-77 were never actually checked meaning that the certification was never done. Number 160 specifically addresses the cabin filter and states that it must be changed if dirty. I have physical proof that this was not done because I have the old cabin filter here that I had to pay to have changed. The Honda dealership where it was done also took pictures at the time to confirm the condition of it when it was removed. Also, you will notice how the signature of the technician is missing but his name is clearly written by the same person that wrote Ms. Hart's name. So did he sign her name or did she say he was the technician of the vehicle without having him sign the checklist? I'm just wondering where the accountability lays on who said they did the work and what work was actually done. Also, we believe that the JW Honda of Colerain location sold us this vehicle out of deceit when they used a cleaner to hide the smell of cigarette smoke. I bought multiple air fresheners and left the windows open in the garage for days trying to air out the overwhelming cleaner smell. It was then that we realized that they were covering up the smell of smoke. I tried to contact our sales guy (Alan Turner) for days after without luck so that is when I contacted the Sales Manager, Bryan. Bryan said that when I dropped off the Pilot to have the remote starter installed he would have them change the cabin filter and do smoke bombs to neutralize the smell. He did neither. I also told him that they car was not driving properly and that it was running high and that I felt like it was not shifting correctly once you hit 40mph. He had the audacity to tell me that it's because Honda changed the way the Pilot shifts since we bought our old 2009 model. Not only did they not check to see what the problem was I had to take it to a Honda dealership up here in Columbus where they found that the front wheel bearings and hubs were damaged and needed to be replaced. On the buyers order, the cost of the remote start is $999 however when I called the service department of the JW Honda location and spoke with a gentleman named Cooke, I asked what the cost was for a remote starter in a 2013 Pilot EXL and he said that parts and install are $861. I would like to know why we were charged more than other customers? Is it because I'm a woman?? On the NADA Retail Value that you provided the vehicle, is valued at $29,100 being certified adds $1,450, having a luggage rack adds a $75 value and the towing/camper package adds a $400 value. For a total of $31,025 and after adding $450 for the mileage adjustment the NADA Retail Value is $30,575. One big problem here is that this vehicle doesn't have the towing/camper package yet it was falsely priced as it did. And it's not even really certified! They also lied about how much we owed on our trade in even though they had the actual payoff amount from the bank. They also charged us a $10 OTHER FEE and I wonder how many other customers were as well. Then two days ago we confirmed that they sold us a 2016 Civic for $4,000 OVER MSRP and disclose it! When we called and emailed asking about the sale price and MSRP. Here is what the sales guy Nathan said "That civic is on sale for $19, 475.83 and the normal MSRP on the 2016 Civic Ex is $23,035. That is for the standard EX trim level models that do not include accessories. The original lower price that I had sent you does not include tax, title, and fees but most prices do not include those numbers including the MSRP mentioned above" When we questioned why Honda's MSRP and KBB MSRP were different here is what he said"KBB takes all of the MSRP rates from around the country and generates an average price which is why they are such round figures and fairly close to the numbers that I have provided. I am going off of the Honda factory pricing which they set for us. But I believe either way the price that I gave you on the civics were lower than the KBB MSRP estimates". What a bold lie!! The MSRP for a 2016 Civic EX Sedan BASE MODEL the same that we bought on Honda's page is $21,040. We are looking for an attorney. More
