I purchased a vehicle October 4, 2021. After having the car for a little over two months I began having mechanical issues. The situation got to the point where the car was no longer drivable so i had it to car for a little over two months I began having mechanical issues. The situation got to the point where the car was no longer drivable so i had it towed to Jerry hunt. I was told by the technician manager that it wouldn’t be looked at until the following week due to the holidays and in order to get a loaner a tech would have to run a diagnosis. A tech was able to look at it sooner and they advised me that it would be sent to the Ford dealership that Monday following the holiday. The communication between the Ford techs and techs at Jerry Hunt by far was the worse i have experienced. I was first told by Ford in order to run the diagnosis they had to remove a part that was stuck, so if it broke during the process I would be responsible $4500. After the technician advisor and myself called Jerry Hunt several times I finally spoke with a technician who advised as Ford experts they should be able to get that done without breaking anything. This issue got resolved when a Jerry Hunt technician was sent to Ford to remove spark plugs to avoid the situation happening. After that Ford ran a diagnosis and advised that I needed a tune up and I was responsible for paying $500. I proceeded to contact Jerry Hunt because after having this vehicle in such short amount of time this had to have been a pre-existing issue. The GM Aaron contacted me apologizing for the information given to me by Ford and assured he would take care of things from this point on. After my vehicle being at Ford for a week, still with no loaner vehicle, Jerry Hunt had the vehicle sent to their repair shop because of miscommunication about the manufacturer warranty but yet I was not notified of this. I found out my car was no longer at Ford after going to get my work materials out of the vehicle that morning. After calling all day we finally received a call back from the GM Aaron who stated our frustrations shouldn’t be taken out on him because he’s been communicating. Once again there was not any type of update when my vehicle was moved and after having my car nearly two weeks I had yet to hear anything about a loaner. Everytime i mentioned a loaner i was told a technician had to run a diagnosis. At this point this was the third diagnoses. Aaron stated that the tech he wanted to look at out was out but he would get someone to look at it. This was Monday so after waiting for a call I called i Thursday to find out this was Aaron’s day off. As a general manager knowing this situation was in his hands there should of been a call that Wednesday before his day off with an update and once again i should of been offered a loaner until the situation was resolved. I spoke with sales manager Danielle who by far was one of the nicest and understanding individuals in management that i spoke with. Although we did get disconnected during the hold but from her i received a willingness to help which i did not get from the “general manager”. Aaron showed poor customer service and absolutely no compassion in this process. It has nearly been three weeks I don’t have a resolution as to what’s going on with my car nor, once again, a loaner vehicle. I have heard negative things about Jerry Hunt but from this experience I see everything was in fact true. They refuse to take responsibility for a pre-existing issue. More
