Never again will I use Jerry's. I called and made an appointment for a leak that I've had for awhile now. They told me they'd call in the leak doctor and to have my car there by 9:30am today. I get there and they say well we don't know if we can get the leak doctor in today... It was supposed to be done two days ago. They couldn't get them to come in. They return my truck, send me home, and suggest I try Safelite. I called the manager and she said what do want me to do about it?.... I was floored... No compassion or admitting they didn't schedule the appointment correctly, just an oh well. My partner had to miss work for this to take me there. I give them a solid 0/10 for today... More
So I purchased a used Toyota Tundra from Jerry's Toyota on Bel Air Rd. Baltimore I knew I should have backed out when the finance guy caught a serious attitude when I refused the extended warranty he offer on Bel Air Rd. His attitude was so appalling I had to leave his office for the salesman (Marc) to bring me the final paperwork to complete. Well before I completed the sale. I inspected the vehicle and realized there were no floor mats and the vehicle came with one key/remote. Marc promised to order new Toyota Tundra floor mats for me and gave me some universal floor mats pending the arrival of the one he ordered. He also promised me a second set of key/remote and advised they only made them on Thursdays and told me to come by the next Thursday for they key/remote and mat around 1pm. I went on Thursday about 1250pm and was informed the key guy came early and left so to come back the following Thursday. Marc also said the mats had been ordered and should be ready by the time I came for the key. Well everything got shut down due to COVID 19 so I decided to wait until things became normal. After a few weeks I called to inquire about the mat and key/remote only to be informed by another salesman named Stewart that Marc had been laid-off due to the Covid 19 and because I did not have anything in writing he would contact Marc and for me to call back. I called a few days later and Mr. Stewart stated he still could not contact Marc and that he had left the state. Stewart continued by saying I could not be helped because I did not have anything in writing. I asked if they had anything in their system to that effect and he said he sees I was given a set of mats. I asked how it showed I was given a mat but not showing I was owed a key/remote and all he said was I can't help you but you can talk to a manager but he is not here. Go figure. I just want to warn all future customers of Jerry's to be careful. I know when you buy a used vehicle the dealer is not obligated to give you 2 keys or mats but when you promise the customer keys and a mat it becomes part of the deal and I believe that promise should fulfill. I thought buying a used vehicle from a reputable dealer like Jerry's would have been better but I guess all used vehicle dealers are the same their aim is to make a sale by any means necessary. They sweet talk you and make any promise they can for you to buy the vehicle but once the sale is done you are on your own. More
I bought my 2007 Tundra SR5 brand new from Khalid. He said this truck will last me a lifetime and he was right. Contacted Paul about a new 4Runner, and he made the sales process easier than I could have imagined. Mr Hamid Daday change numbers to benefit himself. He’s a liar and he falsified numbers to make a deal. He’s a liar beware he’s not truthful. My payment was $488 with extended warranty and gap. Once I got to him he lied and said that the warranty wasn’t included which took my price over $500. Found out later that he upgraded my warranty to benefit himself and blamed it on the sales people. I told him I didn’t have money down ended up paying money to drop the payment. The price I signed for initially wasn’t honored and all he could do is keep saying you made a great deal and God bless you. It’s sad how he took advantage of me and lied to get the sale. Please don’t use him. I would recommend Candace Jordan and Chad but Mr. Hamid no way he really needs to be honest with people and not lie and change numbers for his financial benefit. He wanted to not extend my payment grace period to lower the payment to the original monthly payment never taking ownership for his mistake and lowering something on his side to get the payment back to the original quote I signed for. He wouldn’t budge although it was his fault he was about the money not about the satisfaction of the customer. But I guess upgrading my warranty without my permission is ok and then lie about it. Update 01/172020 found out today that Mr. Hamid changed my interest rate unknowingly to the bank that financed my loan. He added additional points or what they called a fee that they could add to a vehicle that is not pre owned and certified what the heck that means I don’t know. This fee or points etc changed my interest rate and it only benefited the finance department but raised my interest rate and ultimately it would have changed my payments and added more than $2000 overall. If it wasn’t for someone being honest at the banking institution I would have never known. This has probably been done to others presently and in the past. Manager Chad took care of my situation and I appreciate that but that does not negate the fact that Mr. Hamid changed my interest rate to a higher rate and passed that paperwork off to the bank and lied about it. He was willing to put me in a financial strain for his own gain. Read your paperwork and ask if they have the right to raise interest rate if a car is not pre owned and certified. More
