So at 140,000 miles I brought my 2008 Hummer H3 to Jim Curley . I was told it needed a new transmission at $4000.00 I gave them the go ahead because it had a 100,000 / 3 year warranty. After 23 months Curley . I was told it needed a new transmission at $4000.00 I gave them the go ahead because it had a 100,000 / 3 year warranty. After 23 months and only 36,000 miles transmission failed, they made a repair and I was on my way. 1500 miles later, transmission failed again, they repaired it again. 2,500 miles later transmission failed a 3rd time within 4 months. They repaired transmission again , when I felt it should be replaced because it must be defective, but they only repaired it. Now 3000 miles later transmission failed again for a 4th time . I brought it back again . They told me transmission has complete failure and needs to be replaced. It is now out of warranty by 4 months and they want to charge me $4,600.00 to replace it again. All they did was band aid the problem 3 times so it would go a few thousand miles until warranty ran out and Now want to charge me all over for another transmission. I got GM involved and all they do is want dealer to open up and see what went wrong at $1,500.00 cost to me and then they may split cost to repair or replace . This has to be the biggest legal way to rob consumers. I will never go to Jim Curley again. Now I need to take this to court to sue them for faulty workmanship or defective merchandise and try to get some of my money back while paying another transmission repair shop $3,000.00 to replace it . Jim Curley dealership has to be the biggest scam I ever seen. I do not recommend them to my worst enemy. STAY AWAY FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT ! More
