Our first visit was to Jim Curley Buick GMC in Lakewood, NJ. We were fortunate to meet Cynthia at this dealership and found her to be kind, honest, and not pushy. She listened to our needs and gave us many options for finding the right car. When health issues became an issue with us, we had to wait awhile before committing to purchasing a car. Cynthia continued to touch base with us over the next weeks, often just leaving a kind message. We appreciated that she kept in touch but backed off while we were healing. When we finally came in to look again, we were able to purchase our beautiful Buick Encore. Everyone we met at Jim Curley, including Mr. Curley, treated us with respect and friendliness! More

That first phone call opened the door for me to drive an hour to Jim curleys dealership to just look at the vehicle. Once at the dealership, We met Cynthia Rothschild and the vehicle was ready out front for me to look at and test drive. The vehicle was immaculate and Cynthia knew every feature and inch of the vehicle! After the test drive we sat down and began the vehicle trade,credit review, & payment option process. They produced an instant trade appraisal from their dealership and Kbb with no pressure on who to trade our current vehicle to. The rates were fair for the term we had selected. (longer since it is a very expensive vehicle). Once an agreement was made we were able to sign and drive that night. We were at the dealership for about 5 hours (1pm-6pm) from the time we walked in the door to the time we left with our new Yukon. Anyone who has ever purchased a vehicle should be prepared that these deals do take time!! This was one of my best experiences purchasing a vehicle and I would recommend Cynthia and Jim Curleys dealership to everyone! We are extremely satisfied and happy with our purchase! Ed was awesome, explained everything in detail, and let me know exactly what was due upon signing. I was unable to pick vehicle up on date it was ready, and Ed delivered the car from jersey to Long Island, signed the paperwork in about 5 minutes and was done. My payments were even a little lower than I had originally thought. I highly recommend Ed- was not pushy at all as I’ve experienced With some in the past. Big inventory/selection and a good deal. There was no haggling. I was offered a fair trade in value which I accepted immediately. Every other dealer would offer me a low trade in, and justify it by insulting my car. I had to walk out before they would come running with a new offer. At Curley, no bait and switch or last minute add-ons. It is a stand alone family dealership; not part of a impersonal multi dealer corporation. Cynthia was my sales professional. She has 20 years with Jim Curley and knows all models in depth. She helped me choose a silver 2017 Encore. Absolutely no pressure. I am a little slow with new technology but she demonstrated everything before I drove off My wife loves it. Thank you Cynthia! Also thank Marc, the finance manager Animal friendly. He was a straight shooter and as honest as I have ever seen a car salesman. We needed to have some warranty work done so we went to a Hyundai dealer for the work and they noticed that the brake pads were below specs and suggested a front brake job. I didn't feel that we should be responsible to replace the front brakes on a car we just purchased so I took the car back to where we bought it, only to find that Jim Curley KIA was now Difeo KIA. The people at Difeo KIA told me this was not their responsibility and that I should trade my car in and buy another car from them. The only person there that offered any kind of help was the service adviser who suggested I contact Jim Curley Buick/GMC. I called the Service Manager Christopher Cotten at Jim Curley Buick/GMC to express my concern and he told me to come right in and let him take a look at it. I picked my car up from the Hyundai dealership and promptly took it for Chris to look at. From my first interaction with Chris I knew that I was dealing with a true professional. He was extremely accommodating and courteous and brought my car into the shop immediately to be inspected. Upon completing the inspection he agreed with the Hyundai dealers assessment that the car did indeed need front brakes, he also agreed that they never should have sold me this car without first changing the brakes so he performed this repair for me at no charge. Besides changing the front brakes for me Chris had his technician check the rear brakes and give the car a once over to be sure everything else was good. Not only did Chris go above and beyond he made me feel welcomed at Jim Curley Buick/GMC. He has made their dealership the first place I will go the next time I'm in the market for a car. I highly recommend the service department of Jim Curley Buick/GMC and am extremely thankful for the service I received. More
